TGPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2025 notification has been released by the Telangana State Public Service Commission on its website, tspsc.gov.in for filling up of the Group 1 Services for 563 vacancies (Notification No:04/2022).
Candidates who are interested in check details and submit the online application form at the recruitment web portal with required information.
Applications are invited Online from the qualified candidates through the proforma application to be made available on Commission’s website (www.TGPSC.gov.in) to the posts of Group-I Services in the State of Telangana.
TGPSC Group 1 Notification 2025
The Telangana State Public Services Commission has issued fresh TGPSC Group 1 notification 2025 on its official website to fill-up 563 posts across various government departments.
TGPSC Group 1 application
Applications are invited online from qualified candidates through proforma application to be made available on TGPSC.gov.in for various categories of posts for Group-I services.
So, candidates can start submitting their TGPSC Group 1 applications as per the schedule on its Commission’s official website.
TGPSC Group 1 Online Apply
Candidates who have applied earlier for Group 1 services vacant posts in 2022 (which is now cancelled) need to login and re-apply to appear for the examinations.
Otherwise their candidature will not be considered for the notification. Further, they need not pay any fee again, as they have already paid previously.
Submission of online applications is mandatory for all candidates and TGPSC has advised candidates to submit their applications much before deadline to avoid possibility of disconnections/inability or failure to login to the TGPSC website etc.
TGPSC OTR
One Time Registration (TGPSC OTR) will not be considered as an application for any post under any circumstances and candidates need to submit online applications for this notification specifically.
Applicants are advised to retain their mobile number and emailed registered in OTR for receiving OTP/SMS for further communication, the notification said.
TGPSC Group 1 Exam Date 2025
The preliminary test (objective type) will be held in June 2025 and the schedule for main entrance examination (convention type) will be held between September/October 2025.
The preliminary test (objective test) will be held in OMR Based offline mode/Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode. The TGPSC reserved the right to conduct the preliminary test either in OMR based offline mode or CBRT mode.
The Preliminary Test will be held during May/ June-2025 and the exact schedule will be notified separately in due course.
The exact schedule for main examination which will be held between September/ October 2025, will also notified in due course.

Before applying for Group I notification, candidates must register in TGPSC OTR or update their OTR in accordance with the new Presidential Order.
The Commission took this decision as some candidates raised grievances with its grievance cell that they were facing problems with regarding to payment, wrong pin and authentication issues.
Candidate should have acquired the prescribed education qualification as on the date of notification.
EWS and Sports reservation implemented for the first time in Group 1 Services. Pick up from Prelims to Mains will be 50 times to the total available vacancies in each multi zone duly following the rule of reservation for community, gender, EWS, PH and sports.
The Preliminary Examination will be conducted in Urdu for the first time, in addition to English and Telugu Languages.
Also for the first time Question Paper in Mains will also be published in Urdu Language apart from English and Telugu. Commission is contemplating to provide e-question paper for the main examination instead of Printed question paper.

Commission is also intending to introduce digital evaluation for main examination to expedite the selection process.

The Commission will conduct the Preliminary Examination in objective type in OMR based and written Examination (Main) in Conventional (Descriptive) Type.
The Commission may evaluate the answer scripts of the Main examinations on Digital / Online mode in addition to or instead of conventional evaluation.
Before applying for the posts, candidates shall register themselves on the One Time Registration (OTR) through the Official Website of TGPSC.
Those who have registered in OTR already shall apply by login to their profile using their TGPSC ID and Date of Birth as provided in OTR. (In case if the candidate has forgotten the TGPSC ID, the candidate has to visit the TGPSC website and click on the link “Know Your TGPSC ID” and enter the Aadhar Number and Date of Birth and get the TGPSC ID).
TGPSC Group1 Application Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs. 200 as an online application processing fee, while each applicant has to pay Rs. 120 as an examination fee. The Commission has exempted all the unemployed candidates from payment of examination fees.

How to apply for TGPSC Group 1 Recruitment?
TGPSC has enabled the Telangana Group 1 online application link on its official website, TGPSC.gov.in. Candidates who are eligible can check details and submit the online application at the web portal.
The Applicant has to read the User Guide for Online Submission of Applications and then proceed further. Before applying, the Applicant has to visit the website and fill the OTR application if not registered earlier to obtain TGPSC ID. If already registered in the OTR the applicant can directly access the application form.
- Visit the TGPSC.gov.in Website: Candidates need to visit the official website of TGPSC, TGPSC.gov.in in your device browser.
- Click online application form link: Once you reach the official website, click on the application form link on the home page.
- Enter TGPSC ID: After clicking on that link, a login web page will appear in your device. In this web page, enter TGPSC ID and Date of Birth and login with OTP received to proceed further. Applicant has to verify the details fetched from OTR database pertaining to Name, Date of Birth, requisite Educational Qualifications, Community, Gender, Disability, Ex-Servicemen & Sports etc., displayed on the screen.
- Verify your details: When you login the web page, your details will appear. If the displayed details are correct he/she has to click on Yes button to confirm. If any details are not tallied and need to be changed, he/she should click on NO button. Then the OTR will be opened automatically for making corrections. After making corrections and clicking on the Submit button in the OTR, the corrected details will be automatically populated in the online application. Then the applicant has to click YES button to confirm.
- Choose the Exam Centre: In addition to the details obtained from OTR database, specific details of Notification such as Examination Centre opted, required qualification and declarations etc., should be filled by the applicant.
- Save the application: After selecting the examination center, Preview and Edit facility is available to make changes and then click on Save & Confirm button for proceeding to next step of making online payment of fee through payment gateway
- Pay the Fee: The applicant should pay the prescribed fee (Application processing fee and Examination Fee) as specified through any of the four modes (through payment gateway) of payment online.
- Download the application form: After payment of fee, the PDF application will be generated which contains the particulars furnished by the applicant. The applicant must download a copy of his/her submitted form (PDF). The Reference ID Number in the PDF application form has to be quoted for future reference/correspondence.
The scheme of examination will be in two tiers i.e., Preliminary test (objective) followed by written test. Before applying for group one posts, the candidate must register in TGPSC OTR or update OTR in accordance with the new Presidential order.
Fist time, Economic Weaker section (*EWS ) and sports quota would also be implemented in group one post selections.
It is also first time that the exam will be conducted in Urdu medium , the Secretary said that the commission is contemplating to provide e- question paper for the main examination instead of printed question paper. The digital evaluation of the main examination is also under consideration.

How much is the Application Fee for online applying?
Candidates will have to pay the application process fee and examination fee of Rs. 200 and Rs. 120 respectively. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, BC, EWS, PH, ex-servicemen of Telangana State, and unemployed applicants are exempted from payment of the examination fee.
What is the education qualification for Group 1 recruitment?
