TSPSC has scheduled to conduct the recruitment test in the month of October. The candidates who applied for Group-I Services vide Notification No.04/2022 Dt. 26.04.2022 are here by informed that Candidates can obtain their TSPSC Group 1 hall ticket either from the official website.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) will hold the Group one preliminary examination on October 16, while the Main examination is being planned in January or February next year. The Commission had received a whopping 3,80,202 applications for Group 1 recruitment. The TSPSC had notified 503 Group-I posts including 121 Mandal Parishad Development Officers, 91 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 48 Commercial Tax Officers, 42 Deputy Collectors, and 40 Assistant Audit Officers.

This was the first Group one services recruitment notification issued after the formation of Telangana. The previous Group-I notification was issued by the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission in united Andhra Pradesh for 312 posts in 2011.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission is making elaborate arrangements for conducting the preliminary test for the Group I services scheduled for October 16. Candidates who applied for the preliminary test can download the hall ticket from the Commission’s website https://www.tspsc.gov.in/ from October 9.

The TSPSC had notified 503 Group I posts including 121 Mandal Parishad Development Officers, 91 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 48 Commercial Tax Officers, 42 Deputy Collectors, 41 Municipal Commissioners and 40 Assistant Audit Officers among others.

This is the first Group I notification issued after the formation of Telangana State. Moreover, never in the history of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State, have such a huge number of Group-I posts been notified. Earlier, the Group-I notification was issued by the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission for a total of 312 posts in 2011.

With the State government scrapping the personality test (interview), the TSPSC’s Group I recruitment is a two tier process comprising a preliminary test which is an objective type and a written examination (Main).

As announced earlier by the TSPSC, the preliminary test will be conducted in English, Telugu and Urdu. The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main exam will be 50 times the total number of vacancies available in each multi-zone following the rule of reservation.

Steps to download TSPSC Group 1 Hall Ticket?

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) hosted the hall tickets for the Group one preliminary test on its website https://www.tspsc.gov.in/. Candidates who have applied for the Group 1 services general recruitment can check details and download the Group 1 prelims hall ticket from the website. For this you can follow this below give simple steps.

  1. Visit the tspsc.gov.in website

    Candidates need to visit the official website of TSPSC, tspsc.gov.in in your device web browser in your device web browser.

  2. Click on Hall Ticket link

    Once you reach the official website, click on TSPSC Group I hall ticket link on the home page at WHAT'S NEW section.

  3. Enter Login details

    After clicking on that link, hall ticket downloading web page will be appeared in your device. Now, enter your login details in the required fields and click on the download pdf button.

  4. Print the Hall Ticket

    After clicking on the button, your hall ticket PDF file will be downloaded in your device. Open the Hall Ticket and read the all the instructions and take a print it, preserve it for future reference.

The preliminary test is scheduled to be held on October 16 from 10.30 am to 1 pm in all district centres. The hall tickets will be available for download up to October 16. The candidates were advised to download hall tickets well in advance to avoid last minute rush. The Group-I job aspirants have been directed to follow the guidelines and instructions as provided on the hall ticket and website.

Meanwhile, the Commission has replaced the OMR-based exam test booklet series (A, B, C & D) with test booklet number for the Group-I preliminary test.

Model OMR Sheet: The test booklet number will be printed on the right corner of the cover page of the question paper. The candidate has to fill the six digit test booklet number in the boxes provided in the OMR answer sheet and has to darken/bubble the appropriate circles with blue/black ballpoint pen. Instructions to candidates: The Group 1 Hall Ticket must be presented for entry into the examination hall along with at least one original valid Photo identification card issued by Government i.e., Passport, Pan Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Government Employee ID or Driving License, etc.

This Hall Ticket is valid only if the images of photograph and signature of candidate are legible. To ensure this, print the Hall Ticket on A4 sized paper using a laser printer, preferably a colour photo printer. If the Hall Ticket is without photo or without signature, he/she should bring 3 passport size photos duly attested by a gazetted officer along with an undertaking and handover to the invigilator in the examination hall, failing which the candidate will not be admitted to the examination.

Candidate is allowed inside the test centre from 8:30 AM onwards. The test centre gate will be closed by 10:15 AM. NO CANDIDATE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE EXAMINATION CENTRE AFTER CLOSING THE GATE. Candidate is advised to check the location of examination centre at least one day in advance and also reach the examination centre early to avoid last minute rush.

Candidate will be permitted to appear for the examination ONLY after verification of credentials by centre officials & after frisking to ensure that no prohibited articles are carried. Candidates are not allowed to bring calculators, mathematical tables, log books, pagers, cell phones, tablets, pen drives, Bluetooth devices, watch, log tables, wallet, hand bags, writing pads, notes, charts, loose sheets or any other gadgets or recording instruments strapped on their body or pockets. Possession of the same will lead to invalidation of candidature for the Exam. Candidate is instructed to wear only Chappal and not shoes.

There may not be a guaranteed security facility for safe-keeping of valuable devices or personal belongings outside the examination hall. So avoid bringing such valuables which are not allowed in the examination centre. The check-in procedure inside the test hall includes thumbprint of candidates. This is a security feature which will allow TSPSC to verify identity and also to check impersonation by any candidate. Therefore, candidate is advised not to apply any external material like Mehandi, Ink, Tattoos etc. on their Hands/Feet.

The candidate should satisfy the invigilator of his/her identity with reference to the signature and photograph available on the Hall Ticket & Nominal Roll through valid photo identity documents like PAN Card, Aadhaar Card etc. In case of impersonation an F.I.R will be lodged with Police Station concerned apart from disqualifying his/her candidature.

Please check the OMR Answer sheet and read the instructions on it as well as on Test booklet carefully. You should use ball point pen (blue/black) to fill and encode the required particulars i.e., Hall Ticket Number, Test Booklet number and Venue Code on the OMR Answer sheet correctly. Failure to encode/wrong encoding of Hall Ticket No. will lead to invalidation of OMR Answer Sheet. Writing with Ink pen or any other writing devices at wrong places will also lead to invalidation of your OMR Answer sheet.

Please check the Test Booklet immediately on opening and ensure that it contains all the 150 multiple choice questions printed on it. If there is any defect in the Test Booklet or OMR answer sheet, please ask the invigilator for replacement immediately. 12. The Test Booklet number is printed on right corner of the cover page of the Test Booklet. Mark your Test Booklet number on side 1 of the OMR Answer Sheet by darkening the appropriate circles with Blue/Black ball point pen.

Example to fill up the Test Booklet number If your Test Booklet number is 102365, please fill as shown below: If you have not darkened the Test Booklet number at side 1 of the OMR Answer Sheet your Answer Sheet will be invalidated without any further notice. If it is darkened in a way that it leads to discrepancy in determining the exact Test Booklet number, then it may lead to wrong result / rejection of the Answer sheet and candidate himself / herself will be responsible for the same.

Candidate should put his/her signature and get the signature of the invigilator at the appropriate place in the OMR Answer sheet. Candidate has to bubble the answers on the OMR Answer sheet with Ball Point pen (Blue / Black) only as the optical mark scanner system scans properly darkened circles only. Bubbling by Pencil / Ink pen / Gel Pen is not permitted in the examination and such OMR Answer sheet would be invalidated.

Candidate should not mark answer choices on the Test Booklet (Question paper) under any circumstances. 16. The OMR answer sheet will be invalidated if the candidate writes the Hall Ticket Number in any other place of OMR sheet except in the space provided for the purpose. Writing Symbols or any type of identification marks etc on OMR Sheet will also lead to invalidation.

USE OF WHITENER, CHALK POWDER, BLADE OR ERASER ON OMR SHEET WILL LEAD TO INVALIDATION OF OMR ANSWER SHEET. Candidates are prohibited from communicating, consulting, conversing with other candidates or adopting agitation tactics in and around the Examination hall such as raising of slogans, causing disturbance in any manner whatsoever during the Examination. Candidates are not permitted to borrow any item from other candidates in the Examination Hall. In case of any disturbance, such candidates will be disqualified.

The candidates are expected to behave in orderly and disciplined manner while writing the examination. In case of disorder / rowdy behavior / trying to use unfair means during examination, an F.I.R will be lodged with Police Station concerned apart from disqualifying his/her candidature.

No candidate should leave the Examination hall until the completion of examination time. Before leaving the Examination hall, the candidate should hand over the OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator failing which Penal action will be initiated besides rejecting the candidature for this examination. However Candidates are permitted to take away the question paper after completion of the examination.

The digital copy of OMR sheet will be made available in the Commission’s website after completion of the image scanning. The candidates must note that those who applied under equivalence of qualification are admitted subject to verification of a qualification and other eligibility criteria & satisfaction of the Commission. Therefore admission to this Written Test is strictly “Provisional”.

Any Infringement of the above instructions shall entail disciplinary action on the candidate which may include debarment from appearing for any other examinations of TSPSC & other Public Service Commissions in the Country besides cancellation of candidature to this Recruitment.

The Penal Provisions of Telangana Public Examinations (Prevention of Malpractice and unfair means) Act, 1997 (Act No.25/1997 published in State Gazette No. 35, `Part-IV-B Extraordinary dated: 21/08/1997) (as adapted by the Telangana Adaptation of Laws Order, 2016) will be invoked if malpractice or unfair means are noticed at any stage of the Recruitment.

Admission to the Examination is provisional, subject to the confirmation / satisfaction of conditions of Notification No. 04/2022, dated: 26/04/2022 and also subject to satisfying the eligibility criteria and verification of required certificates at a later stage. They will be allowed into the centres from 8.30 am and the last entry into the centre has been capped at 10.15 am, though the test commences at 10.30 am. This is done to facilitate capturing of biometric attendance of aspirants in the centres prior to test.

To check impersonation cases, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has introduced a biometric attendance system and details captured during the preliminary test will be verified during the Main examination to validate the candidate’s credentials. If any impersonation is reported, the Commission will initiate severe action including filing of criminal cases and debarment from future recruitment exams.

The Commission has constituted 1,019 centres and an equal number of chief superintendents across the State. Shortly after the examination, the Commission will be releasing the key besides hosting scanned copies of the OMR sheets on its website. For the Group-I prelims, the Commission will be using the jumbling system in the questions paper i.e., no question and even options in the two question papers will be in the same order.

Asking the aspirants not to believe any rumours or brokers, the Commission said baseless rumours on the recruitment exams on the social media platforms will be dealt with an iron fist.
