Once release the notification, interested candidates who are eligible can check details and submit the online application as per the schedule.
The Telangana State Public Service Commission issued a notification for 581 vacancies of Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-I and II, Matron Grade-I and II, Warden Grade-I and II, and Lady Superintendent in different welfare departments.
The notified vacancies include 228 Hostel Welfare Officers Grade-II Male in Scheduled Caste Development department, 140 Hostel Welfare Officers Grade-II in BC Welfare department and 106 Hostel Welfare Officer Grade-II in Tribal Welfare department.
The online submission of applications for direct recruitment to the notified posts will commence on January 6 and the last date to apply is up to 5 pm on January 27. Applications can be submitted on the Commission’s website https://www.tspsc.gov.in/.

Web Note by TSPSC: The Commission has released Notification for 581 vacancies in various Welfare Departments for the post of Hostel Welfare Officer Grade 1 & 2, Matron Grade 1 & 2, Warden Grade 1 & 2, and Lady Superintendent, Children Home. Receipt of online applications for Direct Recruitment to the said posts will commence from Dt:06/01/2025 and last date for online applications is up to 05:00 p.m on Dt:27/01/2025.
Candidates, who are eligible to apply for the said posts, shall visit the TGPSC website http://www.tspsc.gov.in and apply online in the prescribed proforma.
The candidates who have not yet edited their OTR have to do so now before applying, as part of the application form will be prepopulated with data from OTR.
The candidates have to first ensure that their information in the OTR updated and accurate. The candidates should be between the age of 18 to 44 years as on July 1, 2022.Candidates have to pay ₹200 as an application processing fee and ₹80 as examination fee.
Candidates should register on the One Time Registration (OTR) system using the TSPSC’s official website (https://www.tspsc.gov.in) before applying for the positions.
People who have previously registered with OTR must apply by logging into their profile with their TGPSC ID and Date of Birth from OTR.

TGPSC will invite application forms from the qualified candidates for recruitment in Tribal Welfare Department. Telangana state government has issued GO Ms No. 177 for filling up of 42 Hostel Welfare Officer Grade II vacancies in the Tribal Welfare department.

Through GO Ms No 177, the government accorded permission for filling up 42 Hostel Welfare Officer Grade 2 vacancies under the control of Commissioner of Tribal Welfare by way of direct recruitment through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).
The government directed the TGPSC to initiate steps for direct recruitment to the vacant posts. It also wanted the TGPSC to issue notification and schedule for recruitment, expeditiously.
Instructions were issued to the Tribal Welfare Department Secretary and the Commissioner to furnish the details of all vacant posts permitted to be filled up in this order, including the local cadre wise distribution, roster points, qualifications, etc. to TGPSC immediately.
Educational Qualifications: Graduation with B.Ed., or equivalent of any University of India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act, or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44 years as on June . Upper age limit will be relaxed as per rules.
Recruitment Fee (280/-): (Remittance of Fee) Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- towards Online Application Processing Fee.
This apart, the applicants have to pay RS. 80/- towards Examination Fee. However, the following category of candidates are exempted from payment of Examination fee.
a) BC, SC & ST of Telangana State. b) Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years of Telangana State (They have to submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).
c) PH & Ex-service men. BC’s, SC’s and ST’s belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee and they are not entitled for any kind of reservation.
b) Mode of Payment of Fee: The Fee mentioned at Para-I(6) (a) is to be paid online through SBI ePay duly following online instructions once the application form details are submitted by filling TGPSC ID, date of birth and other particulars.
The fee once remitted, shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee, application fee, wherever applicable will entail total rejection of application.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through tspsc.gov.in from Feb to March . Candidates should complete the OTR process before applying online.
Candidates required to pay Rs. 200/- towards Application Processing Fee and Rs. 80/- towards Examination Fee. SC/ ST/ BC/ Unemployed applicants, PwD, Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.
