Certain Film Technology streams, as chosen, will be taught to the selected candidates additionally along with regular academics (Degree – Osmania University) of their concerned classes. Film Technology classes will be taught in the premises of TSWRFAS, Malkajgiri at Edulabad for degree students also.

Fine Arts School Admissions are provided in 1st Year Degree Courses (Arts) with Film Technology for women only in above said TSWR institutions for the academic year 2023-23. The 40 vacancies, available in various Arts Degree courses respectively, will be filled through two types of screening tests, mentioned below.
- A written exam on academic subjects of Intermediate
- A basic skill test in Film Technology (Discipline wise).
- There are 40 vacancies in various arts’ groups (HEPA, EPJ, EPG, EPS & EPP) available for admissions into 1st year degree courses.

Eligibility: (a) Qualification: The students (Women) who appeared/passed IPE 2023 for the academic year 2020- 21 are eligible to write the entrance test and appear for Film Technology’s skill test for admissions into 1st year degree courses.
Income Limit: The annual income of the parent shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum (for Urban students) and Rs.1,50,000/- (for Rural students) as certified by the MRO. The students from Telugu / English media are eligible for this entrance test.
List of Documents: The admission for the selected students would be confirmed only after submitting following certificates in original along with one set of Xerox copies at the time of admission.

Selection Procedure for TSWR Fine Arts School Admissions (Details Of Screening Tests & Its Parameters): Following two types of screening tests will be conducted for admissions into 1st Year Degree. The details of the tests are given below
Screening Test A: A Written entrance exam to be conducted on Intermediate subjects for 1st year degree admissions.
Screening Test B: A basic skill test on Film Technologies will be conducted online.

Date of Entrance Exam & Session & Timings: Will be intimated in due course of time.
Written exam: For 1st year Degree admissions, a written exam will be conducted for 50 Marks on intermediate based subjects.
- The Questions for written examination will be of multiple choice type [MCQs].
- Each question carries ONE mark.
- The candidates should write correct answer of each question in the space provided just opposite to each question.
- Otherwise valuation cannot be done.
Basic skill test: The basic skill test in Film Technology’s disciplines will be conducted on following parameters.
- They should have the knowledge of films
- Analytical skills
- Ability to interpret the stories
- imagination
- visualization and
- writing or expressing on given themes
The above basic skill test in Film Technology disciplines will be conducted by the concerned Film Technology’s faculty under supervision of the SWAEROWOOD Film Technology Project’s Director & Consultant of TSWR Fine Arts School, Malkajgiri.
The admission shall be provided based on the combined merit of both tests and community reservation.
In case if two (or) more candidates get the same merit, marks secured in Fine Arts Skill test will be considered first, then their DOB will be considered later.
Regarding Film Technology Coaching: As per prescribed time-tables, the students (40) selected for degree courses, will stay at campus of the TSWRDCW, Ibrahimpatnam presently located at Ghatkesar and attend Film Technology’s classes in the afternoon session at TSWR Fine Arts School, Malkajgiri located at Edulabad duly attending academic session in the morning at their college
TSWR Fine Arts School Entrance Test Exam Schedule, Results, Marks, Revaluation: The marks secured by the candidate in any of the screening test shall not be displayed (or) revealed to the candidates / parents / others.
There is no provision for revaluation of the answer scripts of the written screening test as this result is processed through verification and sufficient care is taken to ensure accuracy. There shall be no revaluation for Film Technology’s skill tests also.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the Secretary, TSWREIS shall be final and binding on the candidates. The provisional selection of the merit candidate shall not vest any right with the candidate to secure admission. The admission shall be confirmed only on submission of the required documents as stated in the online application and in accordance to prospectus (failing which admission may be cancelled).
The Secretary, TSWREIS reserves right to postpone / modify / change admission test schedule. Any information regarding this entrance test shall be sent to the registered Mobile Number of the candidate through SMS. Hence, the candidates are directed not to change the Mobile Number.
Fine Arts School Features: The medium of instruction in the above specialized school is ENGLISH only. Selected students will get all benefits extended by SC Development Department such as free boarding, lodging, dresses, books, Medical care and Examination Fee etc., as per the decisions of the Government of Telangana State from time to time.

Candidates, applying for admissions into 1st year degree courses, have to pay registration fee of Rs.100/- for submission of application through ONLINE from any Internet centre through NET banking / Credit Card / Debit Card.
Before filling the application through online, the candidate has to read the information / prospectus already uploaded in the website www.tswreis.in You can prepare a hard copy first and then fill online to avoid mistakes. Candidates should upload their passport photo and signature in *.jpg or *.jpeg formats within size of 100 kb.
The candidates must opt one Film Technology’s discipline of their choice while applying on-line. The candidates shall be considered for admission into Degree Course according to their option of Film Technology disciplines, based on the availability of seats in those disciplines and based on their merit in the caste concerned. The option once exercised is final and cannot be changed.
