Union Public Service Commission will be releasing the notification for UPSC CMS 2023 Exam on July 17, on its official website upsc.gov.in. The interested candidates willing to appear for the UPSC CMS Exam must be prepared.
The application form will be commenced from on July 7 onwards and will conclude on the UPSC application portal upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can check the official notice on the UPSC official website that is upsc.gov.in.
According to officials, the new dates for its notification will be announced in due course of time after reviewing the covid-19 situation. Candidates who want to apply for the CMS examination of UPSC should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS examination.
A candidate yet to appear for the final MBBS examination can also apply for the Union Public Service Commission Combined medical services examination. Earlier according to the Calendar released by UPSC the CMS Exams notification was scheduled to be released on May 5.
The last date to apply for the exam was scheduled for July 27 and the examination of UPSC combined medical services what post to be held on November 21 across various states and country. As per the official exam calendar of the UPSC, the Combined Medical Service exam will be held on November 21.
The successful examinees qualifying the exams will be appointed as Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways and Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service, Junior Scale Posts in the Central Health Service, General Duty Medical Officer in the New Delhi Municipal Council.

Eligibility criteria: (a) Educational Qualification: The candidate must hold an MBBS degree to be eligible for filling up the UPSC CMS application form. Those who are in their final year/semester of the M.B.B.S. examination may also apply. (b) Age Limit: The upper age limit must not exceed 32 years.
(c) Medical/physical requirements: Applicants must be physically and medically fit as per the physical/medical standards of the Combined Medical Services Examination.
Age Limit (1st August): A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1988.

How to Apply for UPSC CMS Exam 2023?
Candidates are required to apply online by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in. Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form.
The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose details have been provided in the online application by him/her. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/Personality Test.

- Click on the “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC.” link.
- A new web page will be opened. In the “Combined Medical Services Exam” row, click on the links given under Part 1 Registration.
- Fill in your details in the required fields, attach your photo ID and select your centres and pay the application fees.
- After completing Part 1, you will receive a registration ID.
- After registration ID is obtained, fill in Part 2 of the registration.
- Submit the application form and download it.
- Take a print out if needed.
- Candidates can pay an application fee online, through the Credit/Debit Card/Net banking facility of any bank or by Cash Challan in SBI bank.

What is the Selection Criteria for UPSC CMS?
The selection process will be divided into two parts- Part I and Part II. Part I of the UPSC CMS exam will be a computer-based exam comprising of two papers. Every paper will carry a maximum of 250 marks and will be of two hours duration each. Part II of the UPSC CMS exam will be given by those who qualify the computer-based exam in Part I. This part will have a personality test comprising of 100 marks.
How much Application Fee is for UPSC CMS?
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.200 either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI. Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee for this exam.
