Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC ESE Prelims Exam timetable 2025 on its official website for the Engineering Service Preliminary Examination.
Candidates appearing in the ESE examination can check the details and download the ESE Prelims exam schedule from the website upsc.gov.in.
The examination will be conducted on February 19 in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon for General Studies And Engineering Aptitude Paper (Paper-I) (Objective).
The second shift will be from 2 pm to 5 pm for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecom. Engg. (Discipline – Specific Paper)(Paper-II) (Objective).
Shift I will be for 2 hours duration, and shift 2 will be for 3 hours duration. Along with the time table, the Commission has also released the Code numbers for various disciplines- Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Elec & Telecom Engineering.

How to download UPSC ESE Prelims Exam time table?
The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC ESE prelims exam timetable. The first shift for general studies and engineering aptitude exam or paper-I will be conducted from 10 am to noon.
The second shift for civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, and telecom, engineering (discipline-specific paper) or paper II will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Both papers will be objective in nature. The first paper will be worth 200 marks, while the second will be worth 300. To download the schedule, candidates can follow these simple steps given below.

Those who pass the preliminary examination will be eligible for the main examination. The dates of these examinations will be announced later. There are approximately 327 open positions, 11 of which are for people with benchmark disabilities.
