AP AGRICET Result 2023 (BSc Agriculture Entrance Test by ANGRAU)

AP AGRICET Results 2023 or AP AGRICET Result 2023 released on its official website, https://angrau.ac.in. Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University had issued the Andhra Pradesh ANGRAU AGRICET Notification.

The results of the AP AGRICET Exam were released by the Vice Chancellor of the Agricultural University, Acharya NG Ranga on its web portal, https://angrauagricet.aptonline.in.

2,570 candidates were appeared for the Agricultural Polytechnic examination and 2,538 (97.80 per cent) were passed. 246 candidates appeared for the Seed Technology Polytechnic course. 242 (98.40%) and Of the 74 candidates who appeared for the Organic Agriculture Polytechnic, 71 (98.40 per cent) were passed. All of them have qualified for seats in Agriculture BSc (Hons) in the respective categories.

112 seats for Agricultural Polytechnic‌ candidates in University Agricultural Colleges, and The varsity affiliated private agricultural colleges have 72 seats, for a total of 184 seats. 159 seats would be allotted to Agricultural Polytechnic candidates, 21 seats to Seed Technology Polytechnic candidates and 4 seats to Organic Agriculture Polytechnic candidates.

Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University invited applications from Diploma holders in Agriculture and Seed Technology for admission into four years B.Sc. (Ag.) Degree programme through AGRICET for the academic year 2023. The University Officials invited the applications in the prescribed form in June from the eligible Diploma holders in Agriculture and Seed Technology for admission into (4)four years B.Sc. (Ag.) Degree Programme for the academic year 2023.

Qualifying marks for AGRICET: The qualifying percentage of marks for the AGRICET-2020 is 25% of the maximum marks considered for the ranking. However, for candidates belonging to scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats

AP AGRICET Results:

Merit list of candidates applied for various diploma courses in ANGRAU: The merit list of the candidates will be displayed in the University website www.angrau.ac.in and the eligible candidates shall be informed about the counselling date through the University website.

For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one student securing the same combined score obtained, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following.

A. The total marks secured in AGRICET
B. The percentage of aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination
C. SSC Overall Grade Point
D. If the tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned candidates, the older being given preference over the younger.
The counselling for admissions will be held at University Auditorium, RARS, LAM, Guntur.
X. The OMR Answer sheets of AGRICET will be preserved for one year from the date of declaration of results after which they will be disposed off.

Merit list of candidates applied for various diploma courses in ANGRAU (file). The counselling for admissions will be held at auditorium, RARS, LAM, Guntur. The OMR Answer sheets of AGRICET will be preserved for one year from the date of publication of results after which they shall be disposed of.

The candidates, who were passed in Agriculture / Seed Technology Diploma Courses from ANGRAU were applied for this entrance test stream through offline mode and they were appeared the entrance test by 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM at notified test centres.
