Animal Husbandry Dept, Andhra Pradesh has released Veterinary Asst Surgeons notification for the recruitment of 75 Backlog vacancies. Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada to receive filled in applications online with effect from 05:00 pm on January 17, through the website of Animal Husbandry Department – www.ahd.aponline.gov.in to fill up the posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons in the pay Scare of Rs 35120-87130.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online up to January 31. The candidates belonging to the local area of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible for the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon within the respective zones in the ration of 70:30 i.e., 70% locals and 30% open (non-locals and locals) quota.
Any candidate willing to apply for the posts categorised in open quota (i.e. 30%) in other zones as a non-local candidate should apply separately in online in the provision given in the online application.

1. Veterinary Assistant Surgeon [Under category (6) of Class A]:
Qualification: B.V.Sc are mandatory and need to be entered.
2. Veterinary Assistant Surgeon [Under category (4) of Class B]:
Qualification: B.V.Sc and M.V.Sc (Microbiology/ Parasitological/ Pathology/ Epidemiology/ Virology/ Immunology/ Biotechnology and Veterinary Public Health). – Qualification: Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal husbandry (BVSc & AH.)
