The Army Public School aims to recruit 8000 candidates for the post of TGT/ PGT/PRT teachers in its 137 schools across the country for the academic session 2020-2021. AWES had organized the APS CSB 2020 exam in an on-line mode at exam centres in 77 cities earlier this month.

The exam was conducted by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) and Primary Teacher (PRT) on October 19 and 20 at various places across the country.
Candidates will have to key in their login ID and password to check their results. Those who have cleared the exam will be eligible to appear for the remaining stages of the selection process. The next stage of the selection process is the interview.
In the third stage of the selection process, the teaching skills of the candidate is evaluated. For language teachers, written test comprising essay and comprehension of 15 marks each will be held along with evaluation of teaching skills. APS PGT, TGT and PRT recruitment Selection Procedure as follows: Screening Exam: The ‘Online Screening Test‘ was conducted on November 21 and 22, 2020. The APS OST result will be declared online Those who qualify in this stage will be given a ‘Score Card’. A Score Card will make candidate eligible to appear for the remaining stages of the selection process.
To qualify for interview and evaluation of teaching skills, the candidates should have passed the Online Screening Test. This has been scheduled on 21 and 22 Nov 2020 at various centres across the country. The general guidelines for candidates are given in the succeeding paragraphs.
Please note that holding a Score Card by itself does not entitle you to an appointment as teacher in any Army Public School. It only renders you eligible for Stage 2 & 3 of the selection process.
Stage 2: Interview. The respective schools shall announce the vacancies available through various means like Local Newspapers, the School Website, Notice board etc. Candidates would have to apply in response to these announcements. The interviews may or may not be held at the location of the school. They may be held as per discretion of the local management at a convenient place at one of the other Schools.
