APVVP Recruitment 2025 for Civil Assistant Surgeon & Dental Assistant Surgeon Posts. The Andhra Pradesh government has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialists of different specialties in Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (APVVP) Hospitals.
The application process began as per the schedule. Interested candidates can apply for the vacancies on the official website of the State’s Directorate of Medical Education (DME) (www.dmeaponline.com) by 5.30 PM on June 28.
Qualified candidates will be recruited regularly. The Health, Medical, and Family Welfare Department of the Andhra Pradesh government aims to fill 453 vacancies through this recruitment drive.
According to the official notification released by APVVP, the vacancies for which the recruitment would be conducted are for various specialties such as Radiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, and General Medicine.

APVVP Recruitment Eligibility: (a) Education: The job seekers must have completed a PG degree/diploma/DNB in that particular specialty they want to apply for or its equivalent qualification from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
(b) Age: Candidates must be registered permanently with the State Medical Council of Andhra Pradesh in India, constituted under the MCI Act. The applicants’ age should not exceed 42 years as of July. However, there will be relaxation for the candidates falling under the reserved category.
APVVP Recruitment Application Fee: The application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs 1500 whereas for SC/ST candidates, it is Rs.1000.
APVVP Recruitment Selection Process: Candidates will be given a 65% aggregate of marks they have obtained in all the years with a PG Diploma or any other equivalent qualification. 10% marks will be allocated for PG Degree/DNB/Equivalent qualification. Weightage of up to 15% will be given to doctors working on a contract basis for their satisfactory service certified by the competent authority.
APVVP Recruitment Salary: The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs 53500 per month during the three-year’ probation period. After satisfactory completion of the probation period, regular pay and allowances and a non-practicing allowance of 15% of the basic pay per month will be allowed.

Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialist Qualification: PG Degree, Diploma, DNB. So, Candidates should have passed a PG Degree/ Diploma/ DNB in that particular specialty or its equivalent qualification included in Schedule -I of the MCI Act, 1956, as amended from time to time and from a College recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Dental Assistant Surgeon Qualification: BDS. AND Age as of 01.07.2020: 42 years. Age will be reckoned as of 01-07- 2020 with relaxations as applicable. Govt. Memo. No. 3543366/B1/2020, HM&FW (81) Department dated: 16-06-2020)
Relaxations will be as follows:
- i) For SC, ST, and BC candidates: Five years.
- ii) For ex-service Men : 3 ( Three) years in addition to the length of service in the armed forces.
- iii) Persons with disabilities: 10 (10) years.
- iv) Maximum age limit is 50 years with all relaxations put together.
Remuneration: A consolidated amount of Rs. 53,500 per month will be paid during the three-year probation period. Regular pay allowances as per rules in force and non-practicing allowance @ 150/- of the basic monthly pay will be paid after satisfactory completion of the three-year probation period.
