Bihar School Examination Board, BSEB has released the Bihar 10th Date sheet 2022 or Bihar 10th Class Time Table 202 on its web portal for Class 10 Board exams. Bihar Board has released the Matric time table, according to which the exams would begin in the month of February. BSEB 10th Date sheet 2022 mentions that the exams will be held in two shifts on all days. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second shift will be from 1:45 pm to 5 pm for both Matric exams. Students would also get a ‘cool off time’ of 15 minutes in all exams. The Bihar board exams will be of three hours duration and an additional time of 15 minutes will be given to candidates. In the additional time of 15 minutes, students can read and analyze the paper. For class 10, schools will have an internal assessment for science and social science subjects. Marks for these subjects will be given on the basis of literacy activities and project work.
To pass Bihar Board class 10 students need at least 33 per cent marks in each exam as well as overall. Those who fail to obtain minimum passing marks in one or two subjects can improve their score by taking the compartmental exam. However, those who will be failed in more than two papers will have to repeat the year.
BSEB Bihar Board Class 10 Exam Paper Pattern
In Class 10 examination, each question paper will be divided into three sections. The first section will have objective-type questions. For short and long answers, there will be a separate section. Each section will be compulsory and failure to answer any section will result in a deduction of marks.
The Bihar board will also be mentioning the subject code for each subject on the question paper of Class 10 exam. The candidates who are going to appear in the exam will have to enter the subject code in the OMR sheet attached to the answering sheet. The subject code for the science examination in 112, whereas, for social science, it is 211.
BSEB Bihar Board Class 10 Exam Marking Scheme: Students will be given internal assessment marks for science and social science based on project work and other activities.
Exam Qualifying Criteria: The Class 10 students will have to score at least 33 per cent in the board exams to obtain a pass certificate. The aggregate marks should equal to at least 150. Those who fail to obtain minimum passing marks will have to appear for a compartmental exam to improve their performance.
