The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has released the revised dates of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT 2020) on its official website. As per the revised schedule, the BITSAT 2020 exam will now be conducted from September 16 to 18 and 21 to 23.
Earlier, BITSAT was scheduled to be held from May 16 to 25, 2020, but was postponed to August 6 to 10, 2020, due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
The institute had also said that the more updates regarding the BITSAT 2020 exam scheduled will be updated soon on the official website.
BITSAT is a computer-based examination conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses including a bachelor of engineering (BE), bachelor of pharmacy (B Pharma), Master of Science in various courses

BITSAT 2020 Hall Ticket
As per the schedule available on the official website, BITSAT 2020 Hall Ticket will be available to download from one week before conduct of exam. Earlier, the institute had decided to conduct the BITSAT 2020 from August 6 to 10. The exam was rescheduled to be held from May 16 to 25 but was postponed due to the nation-wide coronavirus lockdown.
The test city allotment is scheduled on July 1, while the candidates will be able to choose their test date and slot on the official website from July 10 to July 16. For more details, candidates are advised to visit the official website.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science has released BITSAT 2020 exam dates. The examination would be conducted from from September 16 to 18 and 21 to 23. Candidates who would appear for the examination can check the official site at BITSAT on bitsadmission.com. Earlier the examination was scheduled to be conducted from May 16 to May 25, 2020, which was postponed due to nationwide lockdown.
The candidates can download the admit card through the official website, bitsadmission.com. The entrance examination will be held from May 16 to May 26 for admissions to various integrated first-degree programmes of engineering in the BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad campus.
Candidates who want to appear for BITSAT 2020 examination will have to pass Class 12 from a recognized college or board to appear for the examination. The computer-based examination would be held online. BITSAT 2020 examination is a 3-hour examination comprising of subjects including Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, and Biology.

- The hall tickets will be displayed on the screen

BITSAT 2020 Exam pattern:
The entrance examination will be of three-hour and will consist of four parts: Part I: Physics – 40 marks Part II: Chemistry – 40 marks Part III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning – 25 marks Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates) – 45 marks
All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions) and there will be negative marking of one marks for each wrong answer. Each correct answer fetches three marks.
If a candidate answers all the 150 questions (without skipping any question), the candidate will have an option of attempting 12 (twelve) extra questions, if there is still time left. These extra questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology only; four questions from each part. Further, once the candidate has opted for extra questions, he/she cannot go back for correction of any of the earlier answered 150 questions.
BITSAT Syllabus:
The BITSAT 2020 will be conducted according to NCERT syllabus for 11th and 12th class. Candidates may refer to the NCERT textbooks for the contents.
Direct Admission:
The meritorious students who hold first rank of all the central and state boards for 2020 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2020 score as per the eligibility criteria

BITSAT 2020: Score report
At the completion of the test, the computer will announce the result to the candidate in terms of a number of total correct answers and wrong answers, with the score. The candidate can also check his or her score report at the BITS admission website on the next day of his or her test date.
Merit List for Admission:
The first merit list will be announced on June 20, 2020. The interested candidates need to submit admission application with class 12 marks at centres of Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad from May 1 to June 20, 2020.
BITSAT 2020 Examination centres:

BITSAT 2020 Counselling Process:
The counselling may start from the first week of June after the release of the first merit list on June 20, 2020. In the online application, the candidates have to fill the Class 12 marks with choice of campuses and courses.
