IIM CAT Results 2020 released on January 04. The result are available on the official website iimcat.ac.in. The exam was held on November 24 in two sessions. A total of 209,926 candidates appeared for the exam, which was conducted at 376 test centres spread across 156 cities in India. The CAT 2019 score is valid only till December 31, 2020.
The CAT score card will have section-wise scaled scores, total score, and percentile scores. CAT 2020 dates are expected to be announced in July-August. The last update on CAT 2019 was released on December 16.
IIM CAT results 2020 are declared in January 04. All the appeared candidates can check their scores on the official website: iimcat.ac.in
Candidates who had appeared for the CAT 2019 exam can download their score card online at iimcat.ac.in.Candidates will have to login using their registration ID and password to download their scorecard.

CAT 2019 Exam: CAT 2019 examination was conducted on Sunday, November 24 at test centres spread across 153 cities. This year, over 2 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam at various centres across the country
The exam was of three hours. There were three sections — verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, quantitative ability. Student got 60 minutes to complete each section and they had to complete one section before proceeding to the next.

CAT 2019 scores to be accepted by JNU: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has recently announced that the scores of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 will be accepted by the varsity from its July 2019 session. The programme will be offered through the newly-announced School of Management and Entrepreneurship.
Selection procedure of CAT 2019: The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interviews (PI) round. All the selected candidates will get admission in around 20 IIM institutes established in various parts of the nation.
Normalisation of CAT scores: In order to ensure fairness and equity in comparison of performances of the candidates across different test sessions, the scores of the candidates shall be subjected to a process of ‘Normalisation’. The ‘Normalisation’ process shall adjust for location and scale differences of score distributions across different forms. After normalisation across different forms, the scores shall be further normalised across different sections. Admission to the two year post graduate programmes in IIMs are on merit, based on a rigorous selection process comprising of Personal Interview, Written Ability Test/Group Discussions, and scores in the Common Admission Test which is commonly known as CAT. CAT is a management aptitude test conducted by the IIMs primarily to evaluate and shortlist candidates for the post graduate programme. It is a computer-based exam and a candidate has to register and apply following due process to take this exam conducted once a year.
