As per the information bulletin released by IIM Indore, the CAT 2020 results are likely to be declared by the second week of January 2021. The CAT 2020 score is valid only till December 31, 2021, and will accordingly be accessible on the website. Thereafter no queries related to the issuance of CAT 2020 scorecards will be entertained.

CAT 2020 exam date:
The CAT 2020 will be conducted on a single day (in two slots) on November 29. The CAT 2020 is the mandatory entrance exam for admission to flagship PGP 2020-22 and other programmes in 20 IIMs and other top-rated B schools like FMS, MDI, NITIE, SPJIMR, XLRI and among others.
Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) shortlist candidates for the interview stage on the basis of their own criteria, which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). As per IIMs, performance in the CAT 2020 examinations is an important component in the admission process.
IIMs may additionally use other factors such as the previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, gender and academic diversity and other similar inputs in shortlisting and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs.

Eligibility for CAT 2020:
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PwD) categories, awarded by any university or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Selection Procedure for CAT 2020:
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interviews (PI) round.
CAT 2020 Exam Pattern:
The exam pattern is the same as that for CAT 2020. Sectional timing of 60 minutes, on-screen, calculator, non-MCQs from CAT 2020 are all present this year too. The examination will be conducted across 156 cities in India (last year it was conducted across 147 cities). The number of questions – overall and in the sections – has not been specified. Payment of CAT Registration:
Rs. 950 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
Rs. 1900 for all other candidates.
Please note that a candidate needs to pay the registration fee only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for. SC, ST and PwD candidates must upload a copy of their SC/ST/PwD certificates at the time of registration. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances

Registration for CAT 2020
The CAT 2020 registration window opens on August 5, 2020, and will close at 5:00 p.m. on September 16, 2020. The details will be available in the registration guide.
At the time of registration, the candidates have to select any four test cities, as per their preference, from a drop-down menu. After the last date of registration, candidates will be allotted one among the four preferred cities subject to availability. In the rare case that a candidate is not allotted any of the preferred cities, he/she will be allotted a nearby city. The candidates can download the admit cards from October 23, 2020, until November 29, 2020.
