Common Admission Test, CAT Admit Card 2023 will be released on its official website, iimcat.ac.in. Indian Institute of Management, IIM Ahmedabad will be releasing the admit card for registered candidates to download. The exam date and time have been announced and confirmed on the official website.
CAT 2023 Admit Card is for the exam that is schedule to be held on November 27. This admit card will have all the important exam related details like personal details, venue, timings, rules and so on. CAT is a Common Admission Test (B-School Entrance Exam) for admission to IIMs and other B-Schools. All the candidates who are interested should hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50 per cent marks or an equivalent CGPA. Additionally, those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

Candidates who have applied are advised to note that entry to the examination hall would not be allowed without the CAT admit cards. Also, information regarding the examination center and shift timings would be available only on the CAT admit cards.
Candidates who applied for the CAT Exam admit card can visit the official website to download it. The website to keep in mind is iimcat.ac.in. The time scheduled for the release of the CAT admits card is 5 pm. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit card at the time of the exam for verification purposes, failing which admission into exam hall will not be granted.
Instructions to candidates: Carry CAT admit card on the day of the examination. Carry the original ID proofs. Report at the Test Centre based on the reporting time that you receive by SMS and email the previous day. Cooperate with Test Centre staff during document Verification and frisking.
Barcode printed on the Admit Card will be scanned at the Scanning Desk. The location of test centre will be communicated after scanning the Barcode. Use the Mouse to select the right Option as an answer for an MCQ and the on-screen Keyboard to answer a non-MCQ.
Admit Card, duly signed in the presence of the invigilator, should be dropped in the box provided before leaving the Test Lab. Candidates must provide their signature on the Attendance Sheet provided at the Registration Desk.
Do not request entry into the Test Centre after 8:15 a.m. for the Forenoon Session, after 12:15 p.m. for the Afternoon Session and after 4:15 p.m. for the Evening Session. Do not carry any prohibited items such as electronic gadgets, calculators etc. inside the test Lab.
Do not attempt to cheat or copy answers from others during the test. Do not involve yourself in any arguments with other candidates or test centre staff. Decisions of the concerned authority will be treated as final on the test day. Do not wear any jewellery (or any item(s) containing metal), shoes/footwear with thick soles, and garments with large buttons inside the test centre.
How to download CAT Admit Card?
Indian Institute of Management will release CAT Admit Card 2022 this week. The Common Admission Test admit card will be released on October. Candidates need to visit the official site of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in in your device web browser.

Once you reach the official website, click on the CAT Admit Card link available on the home page.

After clicking on the link, a new web page will be appeared. Enter the login details and click on submit.
- Download admit card
After that, your admit card will be displayed on the screen. Check the admit card and download the page. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
Candidates are advised to note that no information may be sent to the candidates regarding the admit card release. All the aspirants are hence advised to keep a check on the official website iimcat.ac.in for admit cards. The examination would be a computer based test and would be conducted in two sessions – morning and afternoon.
CAT: This year, Indian Institute of Management will conduct the examinations in 153 cities across the country in two sessions. The exam authority has already released the tutorial to understand the format of the test which is available on the CAT website.
CAT Exam pattern
The examination will be of 180 minutes and candidates will be allotted 60 minutes for answering questions in each section and they will be restricted to switch from one section to another. The questions will be in three sections –
Section 1) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Section 2) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Section 3) Quantitative Ability
Candidates will be allotted 60 minutes to answer questions in each section mentioned above. The CAT 2020 selection process conducted by IIMs involves a Written Ability Test (WAT), and a Personal Interview (PI).
Those who clear the exam will be eligible for admission to management courses, including PGP, PGDM, PGPEM, EPGP, PGPBM, PGPEX, at the IIMs and other management colleges across the country. The results for the CAT are usually released in the second week of January. CAT score is valid only till December 31 and will accordingly be accessible on the website.
Once the result is out, each IIM shortlists successful candidates for the second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). IIMs may additionally use other factors like previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, gender and academic diversity and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs. –
