Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA) will release the Under Graduate Entrance Test for Engineering Courses (UGET 2022) held under Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admissions into BTech courses.
The COMEDK UGET registration will begin soon on the official website comedk.org. The candidates who are interested in could register online for the entrance exam and the rest of the registration procedure including submission of COMEDK application form and application fee will also be conducted online.
COMEDK UGET will be held for admissions into 150 engineering colleges in Karnataka. The COMEDK UGET registration will begin from March 22. Candidates interested in pursuing graduation in engineering can apply on the official site of COMEDK, comedk.org.
Through COMEDK UGET scores, candidates can take admission to undergraduate engineering programmes. The colleges affiliated with the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust will accept COMEDK UGET scores.
Eligibility criteria for COMEDK UGET: The candidates appearing for the Karnataka Btech entrance examination must have passed Class 12 or PUC or other equivalent examination with at least 45 percent marks. They must collect the soft copies of their academic certificates and mark sheets that may be required to be uploaded along with the UGET application form.

KUPECA will also release the information brochure bearing details such as the eligibility criteria, seat matrix, entrance exam syllabus, exam day guidelines and information related to the admit card. COMEDK conducts the UGET and Uni-GAUGE-E as a combined exam for candidates seeking admissions to BE or BTech courses offered by the participating institutes.
Colleges affiliated to the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust and COMEDK UGET member institutes or the participating colleges under Uni-GAUGE-E consider the entrance examination.
Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for the COMEDK’s Undergraduate Entrance Test for engineering courses (UGET) architecture examination has been changed. As per the notification, the candidates now have to secure a minimum 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics and also 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
Eligibility: Engineering: Candidates are required to have cleared II PUC, their 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent exam from a recognised Board. Candidates should have scored at least 45 per cent (40 per cent for reserved categories) in their plus two exams with physics and maths as compulsory subjects and chemistry or bio-technology or biology or electronics or computer as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.
Architecture: Candidates are required to have cleared II PUC, their 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent exam from a recognised Board. Candidates should have scored at least 50 per cent (45 per cent for reserved categories) in their plus two exams.
Candidates should have appeared for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and should have scored got atleast cut-off marks in two individual components and also getting at least the qualifying marks in aggregate.
There will be no separate entrance test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch course. They have to submit separate application for participation in the counselling.
COMEDK UGET Online Application: Students who are interested and eligible can apply on its official website. The candidates can register through the official website comedk.org. It is an online examination. The steps to apply are provided along with the direct link. There are various centres across the country for admission in engineering courses at various COMEDK-member institutions across the state.
Steps to submit for COMEDK UGET Online Application:
- Log on to the official website comedk.org
- Click on login/register button
- Enter the required details
- After the registration, the candidate will receive user id and password on mobile and e-mail id
- Login with the unique user id and password
The candidates applying for COMDEK UGET has to pay Rs.1300 as application fee. Candidate applying for both COMEDK AND UNIGAUGE has to pay an application fee of Rs.2100. The candidates can submit the fee through online mode only via Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card.
The COMEDK UGET Admit Card for the Under Graduate Entrance Test, UGET will be released on the official website, comedk.org. The examination is set to be conducted in online mode for admission to various engineering courses at member COMEDK institutions across Karnataka.
Students who had applied to the examination earlier this year are now required to download their respective admit cards or Test Admission Tickets by logging into the UGET portal.

UGET Result: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will release the result of Undergraduate Entrance Test, or COMEDK UGET. Candidates can check their individual result from the official website, comedk.org. Candidates who qualify in COMEDK UGET result will become eligible to apply for online counselling.

According to reports, COMEDK UGET 2020 counselling will be conducted online this year. This year, over 40,000 students took the UGET examination for admission to participating engineering colleges across Karnataka.
