Subject: SCERT-Telangana Hyderabad-Undertaking the health checkup of computers in High Schools and Upper Primary CAL schools in the State which were not taken up earlier-Instructions issued-Reg.
All the DEOs and POs of SSA in the Slate are hereby informed that, orders have been issued earlier for health checkup of computers (whether ICT Scheme, CAL programme. Donated computers) in all the schools where computers were provided earlier. The health checkup have been taken up in all the districts but it was incomplete and the status of computers in some of the schools have not been provided or uploaded.
The district wise number of schools not covered for health checkup is enclosed. In this regard it was instructed that the health checkup of remaining schools shall be taken up immediately by the MIS Coordinators in their Mandals and upload through the mobile phone app as was done earlier before by15.09.2016 without fail. The AMOs of SSA may be directed to take up the programme and coordinate with MIS coordinators to complete the task of health checkup. Action will be initiated on the concerned CRPs. MIS persons and AMOs if task is not completed by 15.09.2016.
All the DEOs & POs of SSA in the State are requested to take immediate necessary action in this regard and see that KS the health checkup of all computer labs (including donated computers) must be taken up and the tenons must be uploaded before 15.09.2016 without fail.

The District Educational Officers and Project Officers of SSA of Warangal and Karimnagar are hereby informed that vide reference cited, it was proposed to implement ICT in about 100 High Schools in Warangal and Karimnagar Districts by making existing computer labs functional. In this regard, it is proposed to take up health check-up of computers in the High Schools.
In this regard, the experts from TISS shall conduct an orientation to the MIS Coordinators/ Data Entry Operators of Mandal Resource Centres (MRCs) @1 person per Mandal along with MIS personnel working in District Project Office of SSA as per the schedule given schedule.

Therefore, the POs of SSA of Warangal and Karimnagar are requested to issue instructions to the MEOs to depute one MIS Coordinator/ Data Entry Operator who are active and familiar with computer technology, from each Mandal to attend the workshop at a identified venue by the Districts concerned as per the scheduled dates mentioned above at 09.30 AM.
The programme should be organized in a High School wherever the computers available so as to impart skill based orientation to MIS Coordinators on health check-up of the computers. Accordingly, instructions may be issued to MEOs and Headmasters for successful conduct of the programme. Further, a filed plan for health check-up and submission of reports on the dates as above may be discussed during the training programme with MIS Coordinators.
Further, information may be given to the Headmaster of identified ZPHS/ Government High Schools in the respective Districts and coordinate and conduct the programme with TISS and SCERT faculty. The concerned Headmasters may be requested to make necessary arrangements and also procure some of the computer peripherals/ cables so as to make lab functional to conduct the training programme. The required expenditure i.e. up to Rs.10,000/- for this may be met from the RMSA/ SSA grants available in the school.
The concerned MEOs may be requested to get 3 to 4 computers from nearby schools to make training successful and return the computers to the schools after training. Two active MIS Coordinators of Ranga Reddy District who got trained earlier i.e. Mr. Srinivas, Tandur (M) and Mr. Mustaf, Balanagar (M) are deputed to the training programme at Warangal and Karimnagar as facilitators.

The Director, RMSA is requested to release an amount of Rs.40,000/- (in words forty thousand only) per each District i.e. DEOs of Warangal and Karimnagar to meet the expenditure as above. The Joint Director, Model Schools is also requested to coordinate with the ICT programme. The DEOs and POs are requested to make ASO of DEO office and SSA office In-charges of this programme and coordinate with local Headmaster and participants.
Further, the conveyance charges to the MIS Coordinators for health check-up in the High Schools may be paid @Rs.50/- per day from District SSA REMS/ management budget.
Mr. Srinivas Reddy, DSO, working at SCERT and Mr. Brahma Chary, ASO, SPO, SSA are requested to attend the programme and monitor field level health check-up programme. The TA, DA to them will be paid by the Director, RMSA, Hyderabad as per APTA rules.
Therefore, the DEOs of Ranga Reddy, Warangal and Karimnagar are requested to take up the work as above and submit the reports online as discussed during the training, positively on the dates as above.
