Make AP as Number one State in India:
Commissioner and Director of School Education A.P, Hyderabad has issued a circular to all the District Educational Officers and the Project Officers and in this regarding instructions have been issued on 7 missions, 5 grids to organize mandal and district level competitions as per schedule to the above said officials.
You are all well aware that the Government of Andhra Pradesh intends to make Andhra Pradesh as number one performing state in the country by the year 2029. Performing state inter alia means the performance in all aspects like social, infrastructure and economical indicators. This involves improvements in basic infrastructure, education, eradication of poverty, improvement in HDI (Human Development Index) etc.
For this purpose Government of Andhra Pradesh have launched seven missions namely:
- Primary Sector Mission
- Social Empowerment Mission
- Knowledge and Skill Development Mission
- Industry Sector Mission S. Infrastructure Mission
- Service Sector Mission
- Urban Development Mission
At the same time the Government of Andhra Pradesh is also planning to develop five grids namely,
- Water Grid
- Road Grid
- Power Grid
- Gas Grid
- Fiber optic Grid.
The expected outcome will be realised more effectively if themes are taken up in a campaign mode. Accordingly the following campaigns are launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- Pedarikam Pai Gelupu (Winning over poverty)
- Polam Pilustondi
- Badi Pilustondi
- Swacha Andhra

In order to achieve all the above dreams every person, including all children have to actively participate in the developmental process of the state. In order to create awareness among the children and also invoke their creativeness, it is proposed that a debate/elecution, slogans and essay writing and songs competition to be held at state level and all the children who are selected will be provided with very good exposure both inside and outside the state.
Accordingly the following action plan is contemplated.
The theme for debate/ elocution is My State in 2029 and it will be the same for the entire state.
Theme for essay writing is “my village in progree”
Theme for Songs competition (with own lyrics and tune) is win with education
Theme for slogan writing swachch village,swachch school,swachch bharath
The students can be classified into two categories i.e., juniors comprising 6th, 7th and 8th classes, seniors comprising 9th and 10th classes.
All the competitions will be conducted in Telugu language only.
Mandal level competitions will be conducted on 16th October. For each mandal under each event one person in each category are to be sponsored to district level competition that means total eight persons from every Mandal will participate at district level.
The district level competition will be held on 18th October. From the district level competition for each event under each category one person shall be selected that means total eight persons for each district will be selected one in essay writing, one in elecution, one in song and one in slogan writing will be selected. That means from the entire state (104) children will be selected and all of them will be called for to Hyderabad i.e immediately after completion of Janmabhoomi programme they will be honoured by Hon’ble Chief Minister and exposure tour will be planned to take the children to important places like ISRO, IIS Bangalore, IIT Chennai etc.,. Some highly developed villages preferably in Kerala will also be shown to them, so that children will have exposure to village development concept role of science and its potential in development.
All District Educational Officers and the Project officers are requested to attend this item of work on priority basis. They are also provided with background material which is to be communicated to all schools at the earliest.
Please download the circular instructions on 7 missions, 5 grids to organize mandal and district level competitions. all the DyEOs and MEOs are hereby instructed to distribute to copies to each UP and High schools in the respective division and mandal and issued instructions to school to give awareness during monitoring at Assembly prepare them for competitions at mandal level and district level.
The Mandal Level Compitions will be Conducted on 16th October, 2014.
The District Level Compitions will be Conducted on18th October, 2014.
