CUET UG Eligibility 2024 or CUET Eligibility 2024, Exam Pattern, Syllabus and more details check from here. The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) or Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET) is a test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
It is a national-level exam and is used by several centrally-funded universities for their admission process for UG and PG courses offered by them.
Last year, NTA conducted CUET 2024 in 12 central universities. This year the number of participating universities in CUET 2024 will be increasing. University of Delhi and Jawaharlal Nehru University will also be holding their admission process through the basis of CUET.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission in Undergraduate programs from the academic session 2024-2024 in all UGC funded Central Universities will be conducted in 13 languages namely
Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia and English by the National Testing Agency. The CUET may also be adopted by the State/ Private / Deemed to be Universities.

Before the approval of using CUCET for admission, DU would conduct undergraduate admissions on the basis of merit and cut off lists and for postgraduation, the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) was conducted. CUCET 2024 will is most likely to be held in the following universities –

An official list of participating universities in CUCET 2024 is yet to be released by NTA on its official website. Admissions are handled at the level of each of the participating Central Universities for their respective programs.
After the declaration of the CUCET 2024 result by NTA, a counselling/ admission schedule and merit list based on the CUCET 2024 score and the other criteria will be made.

Candidates must ensure they are qualified to appear for CUET 2024 and meet the criteria put forward by NTA. As per the 2021 guidelines, candidates should keep in mind the educational qualifications mentioned below.
Eligibility for CUET 2024
- Candidates must have passed Class XII (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized education Board.
- If the respective Board awards grades (or CGPA), the conversion factor given by the Board must be used to compute the percentage of marks.
- Candidates, who have completed their Class XII in 2021, and have passed the Board exams, will also be eligible to apply for CUCET 2024.
CUET Syllabus and Exam Pattern
CUET 2024 will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks. The duration of the papers will be two hours. The paper is usually divided into two parts – Part A and B. Part A of the question paper comprises of English, Numerical Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, General Aptitude and General Knowledge.
Part B will consist of four sections – physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology. In Part B, Sections of Physics and Chemistry are mandatory but the candidate will have a choice between Math and Biology section.
CUET for UG is organised in majorly two paper codes, UIQP01 and UIQP02. All candidates who will be appearing for UIQP02 courses and their entrance exams, they will be attempting 100 questions made from the Syllabus for Part A mentioned above. (English, General Aptitude, Reasoning, etc.,)
Candidates should note that the official syllabus for CUCET 2024 has not yet been released. It will be uploaded by NTA on the official website of CUET.
CUET is likely to take place in the third week of March. An official date will be communicated to aspirants by NTA on the official website, cucet.nta.nic.in.
