CUET UG Registration 2024 or CUET Online Application 2024 link has been enabled by the National Testing Agency on its official website, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
NTA is inviting applications from candidates for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET 2024) or Common University Entrance Test UG (CUET UG) online at the official website at cucetexam.in. The exam will be held in September.
The candidates who will clear the exams will be eligible for admission to any one of the 10 central universities including the Central University of Haryana, Central University of Jharkhand,
Central University of Jammu, Central University of Karnataka, Central University of Kashmir, Central University of Kerala, Central University of Punjab, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of South Bihar and Central University of Tamil Nadu.
Candidates can go to the ‘University’ section on the homepage and click on any of the 10 universities to check the details of courses and eligibility and number of seats available in the particular university. The CUET UG exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test Mode.
The aspirants who desire to appear for the test, may refer to the Information Bulletin for admission to Undergraduate programmes of the desired Central Universities (CUs) for admission into the Undergraduate Programmes.
Online Application Forms for Undergraduate Programmes will open and the link for the same will be made available on the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
Candidates who wish to appear for CUET UG exam are advised to go through the required eligibility of the desired University/ Universities for selecting the options from UG Programmes being offered.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Until last year, the CUCET was conducted for admissions to 13 newly founded central universities.
However, the University of Delhi (DU) and the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have now approved CUCET for the admissions to the upcoming academic year. DU had formed eight member committee for CUCET.
Until last year, the admissions were done on the basis of cut-off marks for most of the undergraduate courses, whereas for postgraduate courses, entrance exams were conducted.
Admission to various undergraduate courses at JNU will be done through CUCET as well. As per official JNU notification, the adoption of CUCET for admission to courses, will lead to a ‘level playing field’ for students across the country and lessen the load of conducting multiple entrance tests as well.

Candidates who have passed class 12th exam or is appearing for the class 12th boards can apply for the undergraduate (UG) programmes while those who are in final years of their bachelor’s degree or have passed the exam can apply for postgraduate (PG) programmes.
How To Apply for CUCET: Candidates can register online at cucetexam.in The examination for UG programmes will have OMR based questions while for research programmes there will be a computer-based test. Candidates can check the exam schedule on the official website of CUCET.
CUCET Exam pattern: The exam will be a computer-based test featuring multiple-choice questions (MCQs). the exam duration is for 12 minutes and the medium of paper will be in English except for language courses.

- The CUCET application process would consist of steps including registration, application, image upload and payment.
- Keep the required documents such as government-issued photo id card, recent passport size photograph, result copies along with a scanned copy of signature ready.
- The payment for the CUCET application form is to be done online. Be ready with net banking/UPI/credit card/debit card to make the payment.
- Candidates are suggested to provide valid phone number and e-mail id.
- It is advised to choose the center of examination carefully as no change will be entertained later.
- NTA will release syllabus, eligibility criteria and paper pattern along with the schedule soon.

How to apply for CUET UG 2024?
Candidates can register online at cucetexams.in. Candidates will get various options to chose the university they wish to take admission in and the programme they are interested in. They can chose multiple options too. Candidates will have to pay an online application fee before submission of the application.
- Users can visit the official website of CUET UG, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/ in your device browser.
- Once you reach the official website, on the top left click on the link that reads online registration. A form will open.
- Fill-in all the details in the application form carefully with required details. On submission of online application successfully the students will get a successful completion message. Candidate may fill the form partially and log in again to complete it later.
- Candidates will receive SMSs and Email alerts at the time of registration and after completing payment.
- After completion of registration process, users can download the application form and preserve it for future reference.
CUET is conducted by NTA to offer admission to various undergraduate/ Integrated (UI) and postgraduate (PG) programmes at 12 participating Central Universities. The exam will comprise objective multiple-choice questions of 120 minutes duration.
Candidates willing to get admission to central universities will be required to score the minimum cut-off marks to be eligible for the CUET counselling.
