CUET UG Result 2023 or CUCET Result 2023 would be declared. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published result of the Central Universities – Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2023 or Common University Entrance Test UG (CUET UG). Candidates who have appeared for the entrance test can go to to download scorecards. They will have to login with roll number and date of birth to access the results.

CUET is used by central universities for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. The universities will declare the counselling schedule and merit list based on the weightage on the CUET score and the other criteria. Those who have cleared the exam will be eligible for admission to different courses across 14 central universities and four state universities. The Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate courses examination was conducted in 27 different subjects with candidates being able to choose a combination of these subjects across India in a given subject held on different days. The result of Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate, CUET UG admissions in colleges and universities is likely to be announced in early September. The exams are being conducted by the NTA. The UG CUET examinations, that are being held in six phases due to several instances technical glitches leading to postponement and cancellation, started on July 15 and will end on August 30.

The result of CUET UG will be released on the website of NTA. The rest 75 questions form part B or the domain-specific subjects. For research programmes, both A and B sections have 50 questions each. Each correct answer will carry one mark and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted, as per the official notice.

  • Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: (+5)
  • An incorrect answer will be given: (-1)
  • Unanswered/marked for review will be given: (0)
  • If more than one option is found to be correct then (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options
  • If all options are found to be correct then (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question
  • If none of the options is found correct or a question is wrong or a question is dropped, then candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be awarded (+5)

CUET UG Exam Pattern: The CUET UG exam paper consisted of multiple choice questions (MCQs). The CUET UG 2023 exam paper was divided into 3 sections. Candidates were asked to answer 140 questions within 150 minutes.

The entrance exam is held in order to shortlist candidates for various undergraduate, postgraduate, BEd, PG Diploma and research programmes. These programs are offered across central universities located in Haryana, Kerala, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
