AP EAMCET 2021 Notification & Schedule for Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Entrance Test

AP EAMCET 2021 Schedule or AP EPACET 2021 Schedule released on its official website and apply online on www.sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet for appearing the AP Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET).

The AP government has decided to conduct EAMCET on its own as its efforts. So, JNTU Kakinada has published the AP EAMCET notification or AP EPACET notification and it is being conducted on behalf of APSCHE. The AP govt decided to conduct all Common Entrance Tests (CET) for admission into various professional and higher education courses.

All AP CETs Exam Dates are announced: Fresh Exam dates for all AP Common entrance examinations are announced. The AP government, through the SCHE, conducts AP EAMCET, AP ECET, AP ICET, AP PGECET, AP ECET, AP LawCET, AP PGLawCET, AP EdCET and other entrance examinations for admission into courses like engineering, medicine, agriculture, business administration, law and also various post-graduate degrees.

Applications are invited from eligible students for entry into the first year of the following courses offered for the academic year 2021-2022 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Students from AP, who wish to join some prestigious engineering colleges in Hyderabad, have to appear for the EAMCET by Telangana. The exams will be conducted online, in the month of April divided into two different shifts.

As per reports, the examination date would also have been postponed keeping in view the current situation of the nation. The examination as per the official schedule would be conducted on The New Exam Dates will be announced soon in the state.

AP EAMCET 2021 Details

The application forms for the AP EAMCET 2021 will be made available online web portal. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria announced by the JNTUK will be able to fill and submit the AP EAMCET application form till end date.

Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is conducted by the JNTUK as an entrance exam or screening test for Engineering and Agricultural aspirants who are seeking admission to undergraduate level programmes. As announced by the council the exam will be a 3-hour long computer-based test consisting of MCQ. The exam will be based on three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

AP EAMCET 2021 examination will be conducted once in a year and those candidates who want to take admission in government and private engineering and pharmacy colleges will have to appear for the examination. Candidates can apply for the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, EAMCET till March 27, 2021.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the exam dates for Common Entrance Tests 2021. The AP EAMCET will be conducted from June 12, 2021. The AP EAMCET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from June 12 to 20, 2021.

AP EAMCET Exam Dates 2021

AP EAMCET Exam pattern: AP EAMCET is a computer-based test conducted in two sessions – from 10 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The qualifying percentage of marks for the AP EAMCET is 25 per cent of the maximum marks considered for the ranking.

JNTU Kakinada would conduct AP EAMCET: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada conducts the EAMCET examination on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission to engineering, medical, agriculture and management courses. It is the second-largest technical university in the country with 273 affiliated colleges. The university separated from the erstwhile Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2008.

AP EAMCET 2021 Important Dates

Online Application Fee: All those candidates who want to apply for the examination will have to pay Rs.1000/- as application fees if belonging to other students and Rs 500/- if belonging to SC, ST category. The late fee is Rs 500/- for candidates applying after the completion of the last date.

Steps to apply for AP EAMCET:

  5. Payment should be done after filling all the details and payment status should be checked
  6. Register after all the process has done

Eligibility and Application Fee:

  1. Candidates applying for the common entrance test must be at least 17 years at the time of applying.
  2. Candidates need to clear the 12th board exams with respective subjects.
  3. Candidates have to pay 500 Rupees. for the application fee.
  4. The last date for applying is 15-06-2021.

AP EAMCET: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will release the EAMCET notification in the month of February. Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) will be conducted (as per G.O. Ms.No. 73 Higher Education EC.2 Dept., Dt: 28-07-2011) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) for entry into the first year of the following Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2019-2019 in the University & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for AP EAMCET 2021: Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for EAMCET: (a) Candidates should be of India Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

b) Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

c) For Engineering, Bio-Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses:

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002.

And subsequent batches, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, provided that candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course.

Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.

In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

d) For B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for the remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM) Courses:

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with any two / three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below: With any two of the subjects:

Note: (1) Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in EAMCET.

(2) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

e) For MBBS / BDS Courses (as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07-07-2011):

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology.

Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

f) For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses:

  1. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test in each subject.
  2.  a) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
    b) There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BNYS.

g) For B.Pharmacy Course: (Remaining 50% of the seats):

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.

Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.

h) For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates):

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training.

Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination. Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board.

Criteria for Ranking: The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in EAMCET and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

Submission of the Online Application form for Engineering (E) and Agriculture & Medicine (AM) streams: Candidates with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry / Bio-Tech. / Biology as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “E” stream online application for Engineering B.E./ B.Tech. / B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.) / B.Tech.(Dairy Technology) / B.Tech.(FST) / B.Sc.(CA & BM) (MPC) / B.Pharm. (MPC) / Pharm-D (MPC) courses.

Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “AM” stream online application for B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA&BM) / MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BNYS / B.Pharm. / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C.) / Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) courses. For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C), candidates shall pass / appear for Bridge Course exam in Mathematics conducted by B.I.E, A.P. as per G.O. 17, Dt. 2-2-08.
