School Children Enrollment Program – Enrollment of All School Children in the Next Higher Classes before 23.04.2015: All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State are informed that, there are totally 61,128 schools functioning in the State, out of which 43,767 schools are under Government / MPP / ZPP / KGBVs / NCLP / AIE Centres etc.
It is the endeavour of the Government to
- Achieve Universalization of Elementary Education and it provide free and compulsory education to all the children of the age group of 6-14 years
- Enrollment, retention and curtailing dropouts
- Achieve Universalization of Secondary Education and to provide quality education.
With this objective, the Government is conducting “Badi Pilustondi Programme” every year before commencement of the Academic Year by drawing a schedule of activities to motivate the children, parents, people and involving the public representatives to achieve the desired goal of 100% of involvement.
School Children Enrollment Program:
As per the School Academic calendar 2014-15, the schools are going to be closed on 23.04.2015. In order to ensure continuity of education of the students studying in Primary School to Upper Primary School (V to VI Class) and from Upper Primary School to High School (VII to VIII Class / VIII to IX Class) all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State shall ensure the admission of the students studying in V Class to VI Class / VII to VIII Class / VIII to X Class.
For this purpose the Headmaster of Primary School shall enrol students studying V Class in the neighbouring Upper Primary School / High School and admit into VI Class. Similarly the Headmaster of Upper Primary School shall enrol the student studying in VII / VIII Class in the neighbouring High School and admit them in next class. All the Headmasters of Primary School / Upper Primary School / High School shall work in coordination with each other and enrol the student duly entering the name of student in admission register.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State are requested to instruct the Mandal Educational Officers / Deputy Educational Officers / Headmasters of the schools to work in co-ordination with each other for enrolment of all the children in the next higher classes.
