GO.100 Additional Quantum of Pension/Family Pension New Rates for Pensioners/ Family Pensioners. Telangana State Government has given GO.No.100; on 21-07-2015 for sanction of Minimum Pension, Medical Allowance and Additional quantum pension/Family Pension to the Telangana Pensioners and Family Pensioners. As per GO.100 the following Pensionary benefits sanctioned to the Pensioners, Family pensioners
- The existing pattern of Additional quantum of Pension Rates shall be Continued
- Minimum Pension/Family Pension/Basic Pension Enhanced to Rs.6500/- per month
- The medical allowance Rs.350/- per month.
The ceiling for eligibility for getting family pension for son/ daughter/ widowed daughter etc. In this Govt. Order.100, 3rd Para as mentioned below
i) ADDITIONAL QUANTUM OF PENSION: The existing pattern of additional quantum of pension shall continue as ordered in G.O.Ms.No 100 Finance (Pen-1) Department, dated 06.04.2010.
As per the GO.No.100, Dated: 06-04-2010,the pre-revised scales of Pay, 2010, the pattern of additional quantum of pension as follows: Additional quantum of pension/ Family Pension be allowed to those Pensioners/ Family Pensioners on attaining the age of 75 years and above as indicated in the table here under:
Age of pensioners Additional quantum of
i) From 75 years to less than 80 years 15% of basic pension
ii) From 80 years to less than 85 years 20% of basic pension
iii) From 85 years to less than 90 years 25% of basic pension
iv) From 90 years to less than 95 years 30% of basic pension
v) From 95 years to less than 100 years 35% of basic pension
vii) 100 years or more 50% of basic pension
a) The same percentages of additional quantum of pension are allowed to the family pensioners also.
b) So, As per New GO.100. the additional quantum of pension and family pension has to be worked out on the Revised Consolidated Basic Pension/ Revised Consolidated Basic Family Pension with effect from 02.06.2014 and the arrears on account of consolidation of Pension/Family pension / Financial Assistance from 02.06.2014 to 28.02.2015.
The monetary benefit shall be allowed with effect from 01.03.2015. So, The consolidated Pension/Family Pension shall be paid in cash from the month of March 2015 payable in the month of April 2015. Additional Quantum of Pension/Family Pension New Rates
c) The amount of Additional Quantum of pension has to be shown distinctly in the Pension Payment Order. For example, in the case where a Pensioner is more than 75 years of age and his/her Revised Consolidated Basic Pension / Revised Consolidated Basic Family Pension is Rs.10,000/- p.m., the pension shall be shown as
(i) Basic Pension = Rs.10,000/- p.m. and
(ii) Additional Pension = Rs.1,500/p.m.
The Pension on attaining the age of 80 years shall be shown as
i) Basic pension Rs.10,000/- pm and
ii) Additional pension = Rs.2,000/- p.m.
i) The Additional Quantum of Pension / Family Pension, on attaining the age of 75 years and above, has to admissible from the 1st day of the month in which his/ her date of birth falls. For example if a pensioner / Family Pensioner completes the age of 75 years in the month of August 2013, he/she shall be entitled to Additional Pension/ Additional Family Pension with effect from 01.08.2013.
Those pensioners / Family Pensioners whose date of birth is 1st August shall also be entitled to Additional Pension / Family Pension with effect from 01.08.2013 on attaining the age of 75 years and above.
ii) The Dearness Relief is admissible shall be allowed on the quantum of additional pension also from time to time.
