APGLI Maximum Insurable Age is 55 years, check Govt Orders details

APGLI or the Andhra Pradesh State Government Life Insurance Scheme, is a life insurance program offered to government employees in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. One important aspect of the program is the maximum insurable age, which is the maximum age at which an individual is eligible to enroll in the program and receive coverage.

The maximum insurable age for APGLI is 55 years. This means that individuals who are 55 years or older are not eligible to enroll in the program and receive coverage. This is a common practice in the insurance industry, as the risk of death increases with age, and thus the cost of coverage also increases.

It’s important to note that the coverage under APGLI is only available for the government employees of Andhra Pradesh. The maximum age limit applies to all the employees of the state government, including those working in the local bodies, Universities, and other institutions.

It’s also important to note that the coverage under APGLI is only available for the government employees of Andhra Pradesh and there are other insurance schemes available for the citizens of the state. It’s always recommended to check the different options available and choose the one that suits your needs.
