Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, Andhra Pradesh invites application from 12th and 10th pass candidates for the position of Volunteers in rural areas. The Gram Volunteers will be responsible for delivering Government Services at door step of all eligible households. One volunteer will be assigned per 50 households in rural areas of Andhra Pradesh. Each volunteer will be paid Rs. 5000 per month. More than 45,000 registrations have been done on the first day of the application process.
Candidates applying for the post of Gram Volunteers should be a member of the village/Gram Panchayat for which she/ he is applying. Applicant must have passed Intermediate (or) its equivalent exam in plain areas and must have passed 10th Class or its equivalent in Agency/ Tribal Areas. The lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 35 years.
All eligible applicants shall be called for interview by the Selection Committee consisting of MPDO/Tasildhar/EO(PR&RD). The selected applicants will be engaged as volunteers by Gram Panchayat on honorarium basis for the services rendered. Each volunteer will be paid a performance-based honorarium of Rs.5,000 per month. Selected candidates would be given two days’ induction training. The positioning and commencement of work by Village volunteers will begin.

Step 2: To apply for Grama /Ward volunteer, Click on “Apply Now” button. Disclaimer window will be displayed. Select check box of Accept terms and conditions, Click on “I Accept” button.
Step 3: Eligibility Criteria: Select the required field of Place, Qualification, date of Birth & click on “Check” button ( If eligible then Step-2 option will be displayed )

a. Enter Aadhaar Number,Captcha in the mentioned filed and click on “Send OTP” button(OTP will be sent to Aadhaar linked mobile number).
b. Enter OTP and click on “Verify OTP” button(Resend OTP button will be enabled after 1 minute).

Step 6: Demography Details: Enter Current Residence address details for communication, Residence proof to be uploaded (Voter card/Ration card/Residence Certificate. (File for uploading should be
less than 1MB and File Should be in PDF only).
Step 6 a : Demography Details: To edit mobile number, Click on “Edit” button.

Step 8: Socio-Economic Details: If you belong to “OC”, Select the radio button as “Yes” and If you are not differently-abled? Select the radio button as “NO” then “Apply” button will be displayed. Select the declaration and click on the “Apply” button. Your application successfully submitted.
Step 8 a: Socio-Economic Details: If you do not belong to “OC”, Select the radio button as “NO”. Enter the caste certificate and click on “Verify Details” button. Your caste details will be displayed. Select caste category, Upload your certificate and click on “Upload” button. Certificate uploaded successfully.
Step 8 a: Socio-Economic Details: If you are differently-abled, Select the radio button as “YES”. Select type of disability, Enter disability certificate, Upload your certificate and click on “Upload” button. Certificate uploaded successfully.
