University of Mysore, Karnataka State has released KSET 2021 notification on its official website. Candidates who want to apply for the can check details and download the Karnataka State Eligibility Test notification from http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in/.
The Mysore University invites applications from the eligible candidates to appear for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2021 for the selection of Assistant Professors will be held on July 25 and now has been further postponed..
Candidates can submit the KSET Online application 2021 in online mode only. The Application in any other mode will not be accepted. Submission of online application form may be done by accessing KSET website http://kset.Uni-mysore.Ac.In
Registration for the exam has begun. Candidates can fill and submit the KSET application forms available on the website till March 7. The option to submit the application forms will be open till March 13, with a late fee of ₹ 250.

Karnataka SET 2021 will be held for 41 subjects at 11 nodal centres across Karnataka. Candidates who qualify the KSET are governed by the recruitment rules and regulations stipulated for the post of Assistant Professors of concerned universities, colleges, institutions (government or aided or private) of Karnataka state.
Candidate who became eligible in Previous KSETs are not eligible to apply again in the same subject. If any candidate found to be eligible in previous KSET tests and reappearing on same subject in current KSET, their candidature will be cancelled and the previous eligibility is withdrawn through de-notification,” the exam notification reads.
Candidates who qualify the KSET will be eligible for the recruitment of Assistant Professor post in Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government/ Aided /Private) of Karnataka.
Eligibility: Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks in Master’s Degree are eligible to appear for the exam. Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or those who are awaiting the final result are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for KSET.
Application Fee: Application fee towards examination fee for general category candidates is ₹1150, ₹650 for candidates belonging to Cat-I, SC,ST, PwD categories and ₹950 for the rest.

KSET 2021 exam date: The UoM will conduct the KSET 2021 exam on 11.04.2021. Paper I of the KSET examination will be conducted from 9.30 am to 10.30 am and Paper-II will be from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm.
KSET Admit Card 2021: Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) admit card will be released on the official website. The candidates who have applied for the KSET 2021 are advised to keep checking the official website to download the admit card. How to download KSET Admit Card 2021?
- Open the official website
- Click on the KSET 2020 hall ticket notification available on the homepage
- It will redirect to a login page
- Enter your registration number, date of birth and security code to login
- Download your KSET 2020 hall ticket and take a print out of the same for future reference
KSET Exam Day Guidelines: Candidate must carry his/her admission card to the examination center along with photo id proof. The examination hall/room will be opened 30 minutes before the time specified for the exam.
Candidates who are late by more than 20 minutes shall not be admitted to the examination hall. Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall/room until 10.00 a.m. in the 1st session and 12.00 noon in the second session of the examination. The candidate will not be permitted to go to the toilet during the last 20 minutes of the examination in each session.
A seat marked with a roll number shall be allotted to each candidate. The candidates shall be required to check their roll number and occupy the seats allotted to them by 9.00 am. Each candidate needs to bring his/her ballpoint pen (blue or black), pencil, and eraser.
If a candidate writes his/her Mobile number or puts any special mark at any place in the OMR Sheet which may disclose, in any way, the identity of the candidate, he/she will render himself/herself liable to disqualification, under unfair means rule.
The use of calculators & Log Tables is not permitted. Any electronic devices including Cellular, Mobile, Satellite Phone, Pager, etc. are not allowed in the examination hall/room under any circumstances. Each candidate will have to produce his/her Admit Card/photo ID Proof on demand by the Invigilator/Examination Superintendent/Observer.
The candidates will have to be abiding by the instructions that may be announced by the Chief Superintendent (Principal) /Invigilator in the examination hall/room.
