Maharashtra Board Exam Date Sheet 2023 released by Maharashtra Government for SSC, HSC Exams on its Maha School Education Board website. Maharashtra SSC, HSC dates have been announced the much-awaited state board exam dates i.e., Maha 10th 12th Board Examinations.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is also known as Maharashtra Board or the State Board Of Maharashtra. The board conducts HSC and SSC Exams in the state of Maharashtra. Maharashtra State Board conducts the board exams for Classes 10 and 12.
Every year the exams are held usually in March and October. Meanwhile, the results are announced in June and January respectively. There are about 7000 HSC schools and 21000 SSC schools in Maharashtra. As per the Maharashtra Board Exam Date Sheet, the written exams for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) will be held as per the announced schedule.
Generally, the board examinations take place between February and March every year. The exams will be conducted in two shifts – 10:30 am to 2 pm in the morning and 3 pm to 6:30 pm in the evening. As per the web notice issued by MSBSHSE – The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Maharashtra HSC Class 12 Board Examinations and the Class 10 or SSC Exams would begin in the month of March or April. The results would be announced in July for HSC and July for SSC.

Maharashtra will conduct the classes 10, 12 exams in the month of March or April. The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) written exams will be held in the of March, while the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) written exams is scheduled to be conducted between March April and. Results for the SSC exams are expected to be announced in the last week of July, while results of the HSC exams are likely to be announced in the last week of July.

Maharashtra HSC 2023 Schedule

Maharashtra SSC 2023 Schedule

Maharashtra Class 10 Time Table
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam or Class 10 board exams will begin from March 15 till April 4, 2023. The exams will be held in two slots. The first slot will be from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM and the second one will be from 3 PM to 6 PM. The following date sheet of the Class 10 board exam is mentioned as given below:

The probable schedule of written examination for April-May has been announced for the purpose of curriculum planning for schools / junior colleges and students as well as to reduce examination stress among students. If any school or junior college has objection or suggestion regarding the dates of conduct of the exam, they may raise the issue to the board by February 22
Prior to the commencement of the examination, a printed schedule will be given to the schools or junior colleges and that this printed document will be considered the final schedule. Students are advised that not to believe rumors on social media and only refer to the official board website for all updates regarding the board exams.
Maharashtra SSC, HSC Board Exams would be conducted offline. The upcoming Class 10, 12 Board Examinations would be conducted in the same school for the students. Also, the practical examinations for Class 10, SSC students have been cancelled.
List of instructions have been issued by the education department after multiple consultations with teachers and parents. Other guidelines have also been released in order to ensure safe conduct of the examination.
Maharashtra SSC, HSC Exam Guidelines
- This announcement of offline exams comes at a time when students were constantly demanding online exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Further, vaccination has been made mandatory for students. As per guidelines, more than 25 students will not be allowed in a class. This has been capped to maintain social distancing.
- Further to ensure students don’t face problems, Maharashtra Board will provide Medical Help at all exam centres and this time, the number of exam centres has been increased by almost 4 times to accomodate students with COVID-19 safety protocols.
- The biggest relief that MSBSHSE has provided students is that in case a student misses MSBSHSE SSC, HSC exams due to being infected with COVID-19, those students will most likely get another opportunity later to appear in the exams. Detailed guidelines on this will be released later.
- Examinations would be conducted in offline mode for both Class 10 and 12 – no online exams to be conducted.
- Board exams would be conducted in the same schools that the students are enrolled – this has been done due to impact of COVID19 pandemic on travel.
- Practical exams for Class 10 would not be conducted this year – for class 12, the practicals would include limited experiments. Half an hour extra to be given to students to write, differently abled to get one entire extra hour.
- Thermal screening to be done at all exam centers for students. If students have Covid or are in containment zones during exam dates, they can give the a special exam in June. This will be treated as main exam and not as a supplementary exam.
- The Education Ministry has been working to address the many concerns of the students as the cases continue to rise in Maharashtra. Question Banks have been released for SSC, HSC Board Exams to help students prepare for the same.
