Maharashtra CET 2022 will be conducted after Covid19 outbreak subsides for Maharashtra 11th Admissions. The Entrance Exams will be based on Class 10th Syllabus. Priority Maharashtra FYJC Admissions i.e., First Year Junior College Admissions for those students who will appear for Common Entrance Test, other students to get admission on 10th standard merit score.
Maharashtra CET for FYJC Admission 2021: Maharashtra 11th Admissions 2021 Common Entrance Test is likely to be conducted in July last week or August first week after the MAHA class 10 results are announced. The state took this call as the class 10 board exams had been cancelled and an alternative way of admissions to FYJC had to be explored. This exam will be conducted for students of all Boards (State Boards, CBSE, CISCE, All International Boards, etc.)
The CET for FYJC admissions will be an objective type of paper, based on class 10 syllabus. The question paper will have questions of 25 marks each on English, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences. The exam, which will last for two hours, will be based on an O.M.R and will be taken offline.
However, the CET is only an optional exam for the FYJC admissions. Students who wish to appear for it, would get admissions in FYJC based on the merit score in CET. While those who choose not to appear for it, will get admissions based on the merit of their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results. The government of Maharashtra had previously announced the assessment criteria for SSC results.
According to the official notice, the students who have appeared in the CET will be given priority in all junior colleges. In the first phase of FYJC admissions the students who have appeared for CET will get admissions on the basis of their merit score in it. After the admissions of such students, the remaining vacancies in FYJC will be open to the students who have not appeared for the CET.

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2021: As the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the result for Class 10 or SSC results 2021 very soon on its web portal. The admission process from Maharashtra First year Junior Colleges (FYJC) Class 11 will be started very soon. Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the entire process for Maharashtra FYJC Class 11 Admissions 2021 will take place digitally this year.
The details regarding Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2021 will be available on the official website. As known, the FYJC Maharashtra is divided into six regions – Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Amravati, Nashik, and Nagpur. To register for the process, each applicant will need to visit the corresponding website for their region. These include, Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Amravati, Nashik and Nagpur.
Maharashtra State to conduct its Common Entrance Test, CET 2021 for the FYJC Admissions. The entrance examination or CET will be conducted by the state board etc. It will be based on the 10th standard syllabus. There will be multiple choice questions for this 100 marks exam and two exams will be taken by OMR method.
While implementing the 11th class admission process student will be given priority in all junior colleges on the basis of merit in the common entrance test. Only after the admission process is completed for students those who have given the entrance test, admission process for other students will be started.
The students who have not given the relevant examination on the vacancy in the junior colleges admission will be given on the merit basis on the basis of marks obtained in 10th standard Assessment system.
Maharashtra government will soon announce separate regulations for the conduct of Common Entrance Test 2021 in the state. Students must note, that the priority for first year Junior College FYJC admissions will be given to only those who will appear for the entrance examination.
The registration process for Maharashtra FYJC admissions would be commenced in the month of July. Meanwhile, the Part 1 form filling for FYJC is scheduled to begin in the month of August.
The eligibility criteria for Maharashtra Board students includes passing SSC or class 10 exams from any recognised school. Whereas, the non-state board students from ICSE, CBSE need to fill Part A of the application forms to be eligible. While Maharashtra SSC Board students will be selected on the basis of merit list for various courses.
In addition, a student needs to have English as the core subject and a minimum aggregate of 35% in Maharashtra Class 10th for admission to Science stream. For bifocal subjects, one should have opted for General Mathematics as one of the subjects for a qualifying degree.

The Maharashtra FYJC CET notification says that the admissions to Class 11 or FYJC will be based on CET results, which in turn will be based on SSC syllabus. To apply for Maharashtra FYJC Class 11 admissions 2021, students will require the following documents:

Maharashtra CET 2022 for 11th Class Admission
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education decided to conduct Common Entrance Test, Maharashtra CET) for 11th admission in entire state for the year 2021-22 will be held on 21-08-2021 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm in the junior colleges affiliated to the State Board.
This exam will be completely optional for the students. The common entrance test for class 11th admission is based on the 10th standard syllabus of the state board. There will be a single question paper of 100 marks for this examination and the duration of the examination will be two hours.
The examination is offline format and will be based on the State Board syllabus. Question Paper is Multiple Choice Objective type Questions and O.M.R. Will be based. Interested students who have passed / entered the Secondary School Certificate (i.e. 10th) examination of State Board or other Board for this examination are required to submit the application form online from the Board’s website http://cet.mh-ssc.ac.in.
Facility to fill the application form through the Board on 20/07/2021 from 11.30 am. It is finally being made available on 02/08/2021. Detailed instructions for filling up the application form as well as for the common entrance test are being made available to the students along with the disclosure as well as on the Board’s website.
The question papers of this examination will be available through eight mediums. The question paper will be made available to the student according to the medium recorded in the application form of the examination. Students who have chosen Semi English as the medium of English as they have fixed in the application form. This common entrance exam will be of offline format. For this, the format of the question paper will be Multiple Choice Objective type Questions.
Maharashtra CET Exam Pattern 2021: The 11th Common Entrance Examination will be based on the State Government’s 10th syllabus of English, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences (History and Political Science, Geography).
