MANA TV Live & Recorded Classes, MANA TV channels are effectively used by the SCERT, BIE, CCE, SCCL, etc departments to broadcast interactive training programs to all sectors of people in the state of Telangana.
They provide live interactive lectures, which allows the people of Telangana to view the Studio-based lectures at ROT end and during this, each session student/common man can call with any questions/queries and get clarification then and there from the live presenter over the phone.
IIT (Mains), NEET and EAMCET Coaching on MANA TV: Softnet – Mana TV started airing coaching classes for IIT (Mains), NEET and EAMCET from 02/01/2017. The coaching material is prepared by experts coaching the aspirants for State and national-level entrance exams under the guidance of Chukka Ramaiah.
The three-hour morning session will be aired from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the evening session will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The classes will be repeated during the day. 60 experts will teach for 540 hours at 6 hours per day and one hour for each paper.
In January, the classes will be telecast for 30 days, February 15 days followed by a break for Intermediate exams and it will resume on March 16. Mana TV is available on all major Cable TV service providers and also on youtube.com/softnet-manatv, facebook.com/manatv and twitter.com/manatv.
Coaching classes on Softnet-Mana TV: The Softnet-Mana TV broadcast the coaching classes in spoken English, Civil Services, NDA, CDS, Central Police forces among other Central Government examinations too. This apart, a bulletin on the current affairs of that particular week would be aired for 30 minutes on weekends.
After successfully airing content for schools and also for preparation of Group-II services examinations, the Society for Telangana State Network (Softnet) – Mana TV channel is all set for a major revamp in the months to come.
Mana TV is also offering coaching classes for IIT (Main), NEET and EAMCET to benefit those preparing for these examinations. CEO, Mana TV, CEO R Shailesh Reddy said that the share of Telangana youth in Central government establishments is negligible. In the years to comes, we want to ensure that Telangana youth take the lion’s share in the jobs of Central government establishments. We want to coach the youth right from class VIII itself.
Softnet is an initiative by the State government to cater to distance learning with audiovisual content. For coaching students on Civil Services, the ManaTV is in negotiations with the State Study Circles for the video content that can be aired.
Not just students, ManaTV is also planning to offer education to farmers by providing content on agriculture. Other initiatives in the pipeline include content on awareness of health and nutrition and social awareness.
“The thrust will be on educating children and women on sexual abuse. We want to create awareness among children, adolescents, and women on how to stay clear of the risks of sexual abuses,” says Mr. Reddy. Presently education content aired on ManaTV 1-Telangana and ManaTV 2-Telangana and channels is reaching nearly 50 lakh homes through cable network across the State. After re-launch and re-branding of the channel in March 2017, the management plans to introduce its services on the DTH also.
Earlier, the content on the Group-II services of the Telangana State Public Service Commission has received an overwhelming response from the aspirants. Over 27,000 candidates have subscribed to the ManaTV on YouTube in just three months. And the content on the Mana TV on YouTube has received a whopping 45,31,230 views.
Several aspirants of the Group examinations have given thumbs to the content on YouTube. Some aspirants, in fact, asked the Mana TV through their testimonials on YouTube to air content on the syllabus of the Andhra Pradesh State Public Service Commission also.
Each department of Telangana State uses these channels to reach out to the population in remote places of the state, to educate them. In the basics of different sector like Agriculture, Electronics, Computers/GK/Science, etc.. These interactive programs are transmitted on MANA TV channels from Monday to Saturday between 9 am to 5 pm (Except Sunday, Second Saturday and public holidays).
