All the RJDSEs and DEOs in the State are informed that, a State-level training was conducted to the identified District Resource Persons on Martial Arts, Yoga, Self Defence for S days and it was planned to provide the same training to all the PETs/PDs in the State at District level. The District level training proposed from 17th to 22nd January 2017.
In this regard it is proposed to provide training in two aspects i.e. 3 day training on Martial Arts, Yoga, Self Defence and the next 3 days on the implementation of regular curriculum of health and physical education, games and sports anti the roles and responsibilities of PETs/PDs.
In view of the above following are the details of the training programme to the PDs/PETs in all the 31 districts in the State.
No. of Days: 6-day training programme – 3 days for Martial Arts, Yoga, Self Defence and next 3 days on the implementation of the regular curriculum of health and physical education, games and sports and the roles and responsibilities of PETs/PDs.
from 17th to 22nd January 2017 (Spell-I) depending upon the number of candidates the DEOs can complete the training in two or three spells @SO PETs / PDs per spell. The DRGs trained at State level shall be used as RPs for the conduct of the training programme. For the first 3days the RPs trained in Martial Arts and Yoga may be used and for the rest of the 3 days the RPs trained in Health & Physical Education curriculum shall be used.

All the PETs / PDs working in Govt. / ZP, Aided, all the types of residential schools, Model Schools, KGBVs and also part-time instructors working as PETs/PDs.
Actual Bus charges, Rs.SS/- for working lunch, Rs.2S/- Notebook, pen and stationery, Rs.200/- Honorarium for RPs and Course Director per day, Rs.100/- per day to Attender and Scavenger, Rs.100/- towards drinking water per day percenter. The expenditure will be released to the DEOs from the RMSA and SSA in 50:50 ratio. The detailed District wise table on the expenditure is enclosed.
The handbook in case of Martial Arts, Yoga, Self Defence and on implementation of curriculum focusing on 6day programme will be printed and supplied to the Districts.
State-level training to the District RPs – 3 DRPs per district shall be deputed to the 2 day State level training from 9th to 10th January 2017 at OUCIP.
Therefore, all the DEOs are directed to identified expert PET /PDs @ 3 per district to act as District Resource Persons and depute them to the State level training programme during 9th to 10th January 2017 at OUCIP, Hyderabad. The lodging and boarding will be provided at the State level. However the TA and 1/4 DA shall be paid at District Level from the funds released to the DEOs from State level.
The DEOs also directed to conduct 6 day training to all the PETs/PDs working in Govt. / ZP, Aided, all the types of residential schools, Model Schools, KGBVs and also part-time instructors working as PETs/PDs. The DEOs to inform all the Headmasters working in different managements for deputing the participants, A good venue shall be identified with toilets, drinking water and training hall for conduct of training programme. In reference 151 reads above, the GOI, MHRD, New Delhi has approved, training in Marshal Arts to all Girls Self defence under Girls Empowerment Project in 5183 schools. Martial Arts/Yoga/Self-defence/Fitness Training Programme
Accordingly in the reference 2nd cited training was conducted for 200 (20 each from old 10 Districts) resource Physical Education Teachers on Martial Arts, Yoga and Fitness at Government College of Physical Education, Domalguda, Hyderabad from 13th July 2016 to 17th July 2016.
In this connection all the District Educational Officers are requested to conduct the Residential training programme to all the PETs I PDs who are working in Government / ZP /Model Schools /KGBVs /Aided Schools from 3rd January 2017 to 07th January 2017 by identifying the training centre, Local resource persons who are
experts in Martial Arts, Yoga and the resource Teachers who are trained at GCPE, Domalguda, Hyderabad. The Budget copy to conduct the above training programme is enclosed herewith. The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state are invited to the references read above and they are informed that the Director of School Education & Ex-Officio, Project Director, RMSA, Telangana is pleased to conduct a Residential Training Programme on Martial Arts, Yoga and Fitness training to the total 200(Two hundred) Physical Directors, Physical Education Teachers and Physical Education Vidya Volunteers @20 participants from each district from 13.07.2016 to 17.07.2016.
In this connection all the District Educational Officers are requested to depute 20 (twenty) Physical Directors / Physical Education Teachers / Physical Education Vidya Volunteers of their districts whose age is less than 35 years and also ensure that out of the total participants 50% should be females i.e 10 Teachers and issue instructions to the Participants to report the Course Director i.e Principal, Govt. College of Physical Education, Domalguda, Hyderabad on 12.07.2016 Afternoon without fail and all the participants shall maintain dress code of shoes, T-shirts and lower/track and should follow the Time Table enclosed herewith.
