Moral Story Telling Competitions (MSTC): Mission Ethical India Society has given the School Level Moral Story Telling Competition (MSTC) and Guidelines have been for ‘Moral Story-telling Competition (MSTC)’ – School Level On 14th Aug 2023.
The School to register at https://www.ethicalindia.org/myschool.php and School should Register on or before 1st August 2023.
Teacher/Principal mobile number needed (for OTP confirmation) for registration. If school is not listed in the Database, provision is there to add.

The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to reference read above, wherein the Mission Ethical India is organizing the event of Moral Story-telling Competition (MSTC) for school students, on 14 August 2019.
Mission Ethical India Society (MEIS), a non-profit organization, serves humanity by encouraging ethical behavior in the Society. The primary Objective of MSTC is to imbibe ethics and values into students by co-learning, thereby empowering them as natural brand ambassadors for ethics. MEI Society has adopted the following two modes to improve ethical behavior in society
1 Moral Story Telling Competition (MST) for school students
2 Wall of Ethics-Distribution of Posters covering 10 value-based quotes.
Therefore, all the District Educational Officers are informed to Instruct the Headmasters of all schools under their jurisdiction to conduct Moral Story Telling Competitions on 14.08.2019. After conducting Moral Story Telling Competition (MSC) on 14.08.2019, the Principal Headmaster has to enter names of top 3 winners at www.ethicalindia.org/myschool.phet to get the certificates with the winners’ names embedded immediately
Further, Instructions may be issued to the Headmasters/ Principals to register (Free) the school at www.ethicalindia.org/myschool.php#f on or before 07.08.2019. Moral Story Telling Competitions (MSTC).

In this connection, this year also Department of School Education has decided to conduct Moral Story Telling Competitions as an official event on 14-8-2019 to the students from class III to X in all schools under all management
In this connection, all District Educational Officers are hereby informed to instruct all the Headmasters of all schools under new management to conduct Moral Story Telling Competitions on 14-8-2019 and the prizes will be distributed on the eve of Independence Day celebrations i… 15-8-2019. This is a school-level competition instruct all the Headmasters to meet required budget for conduct of this competitions from available school funds. And als instruct them to send programme documentation and reflections to SCERT
MSTC on August 14, So School has to enter top 3 winners at MEIS Website. Certificates will be mailed with names by Mission Ethical India Society. Prize money will be Rs.500/- Rs 300/- and Rs.200/- as 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. Any citizen can sponsor the Prize money direclty to school, if so the sponsors name can be cited on the Certificates

a. Announce MSTC in the first week of August, so that students get time for preparation
b. Announce during morning prayer, briefing criticality of ethical/moral values for stable & pleasant society
Where to conduct?
Moral Story-telling Competition (MSTC) is school level competition. School management can conduct this event in the school campus, on 14th August, as part of other competitions planned on the occasion of independence day 15th August.
Invitations for MSTC:
Invite Senior citizens, parents, ex-students, citizens of the locality, as it adds motivation to students participating in the competition. Invite Press/ Electronic media to get this event covered
Age Group: 2 Categories
a. Class 1 to 5 and Class 6 to 10
MSTC Details:
a. MSTC Topic: a. Student can tell any story, concluding with a moral value
b. Duration of Story: 5 to 6 minutes for each student
c. Language: Student can narrate story in any language
Evaluation Criteria
a. How well content was connected with the MORAL of the story, to get it registered in the minds of audience
b. Joy of narrating the story. Whether it was just content delivery or enjoyed the theme of MSTC
To receive Certificates over email
a. After conducting MSTC on 14th August, teacher/principal has to enter names of top-3 winners at

b. Certificates will be emailed immediately with names of winners embedded. www.ethicalindia.org
Prizes for top-3 winners (if any sponsor comes forward)
a. If ex-student or any citizen sponsors prizes, her/his name can be cited in the certificate (at the Sponsor field)
b. The sponsor can award prizes which will help in the academic excellence of students
Awarding on 15th August
a. Certificates for Top-3 winners (and cash prize if any sponsor comes forward)
Photos / Videos:
a. Capture photos (if feasible video also) while students narrating stories
b. Capture photos while 3 winners receiving certificates/prize money
c. Group photo of 3 winners with entire school staff
Press Note: Release press note covering details of MSTC event, names of winners and views of members who attended the event.
Upload photos/videos & Press clips: Upload as an album to any Facebook account with hashtag #MSTC2019MEIS. The written form of stories: If students have time/patience, ask them to write the story (narrated on the dais) on a paper and same can be included in the Facebook album
