NIOS Board Exam Registration 2025 or NIOS ODE registration 2025 & Exam Fee Schedule for Class 10, 12 exams at nios.ac.in. National Institute of Open Schooling will conduct NIOS Board Exam for classes 10, 12 during April-May 2025.
Candidates who want to appear for the exam can apply for the NIOS Public Exams registration through the official site of NIOS on nios.ac.in. National Institute of Open Schooling, NIOS Board Exam 2025 fee payment dates are announced on its web portal.
Candidates who want to appear for the class 10 and class 12 courses exams can apply on the official site of NIOS, sdmis.nios.ac.in. National Institute of Open Schooling will begin the registration process for NIOS Public Exams as per the schedule.
The registration process will begin for both Secondary or Class 10 and Senior Secondary or Class 12 exams. Candidates can apply online through the official site of NIOS on nios.ac.in.

NIOS Board exam fee schedule
Kindly note that there should be minimum two year gap between passing 10th and passing 12th class hence, it is the responsibility of the learners (who have passed class 10th and are registered to appear in class 12th) to submit the exam fee for not more than 4 subjects for the public exams for Senior Secondary courses to be held in April 2025 session.
Result of the learners who submit the fee for more then 4 subjects will not be declared if the mandatory gap of two years as mentioned above is not completed. For details, you may refer the Prospectus available on the website.

Steps to register for NIOS Board Exam
The National Institute Of Open Schooling (NIOS) Public Examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary programmes will be conducted between as per the schedule.
Candidates who want to appear for the National Open School examination can apply online by following the simple steps given below.
- Visit the nios.ac.in website: Students need to visit the official site of NIOS on nios.ac.in.
- Click on the Admission Link: Once you reach the official website, click on the admission link at the learners corner on the home page.
- Click on the Pay Exam Fee Link: Once you reach the NIOS admission web portal, [https://sdmis.nios.ac.in], click on Pay Exam Fee link at the Exams and Results section available on the top bar of the page.
- Enter Your 12 digit Enrolment No: After clicking on the Pay Exam Fee link, Registration for NIOS Board Examination web page will be appeared in your device. In this page, please enter your 12 digit Enrolment Number in the required field and click on the submit button.
- Fill the Application Form: After clicking on the submit button, Fill in the Examination Online application form with required details and make the payment of exam fees.
- Pay the Exam Fee: After filled in online application form, you can make the payment of exam fees with proper payment method.
- Click on the Submit button: Once done click on the submit button. Your application has been submitted.
- Download the Application: Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
As per the official site, all the regional directors are directed to intimate to the concerned Ais for submitting examination fee of Secondary and Senior Secondary Examination within the stipulated time only through online mode. Over one lakh candidates had applied to appear for class 10 and 12 board exams last year. This year too, the number is expected to go over a lakh.
Last year, NIOS could not hold all the exams due to the pandemic and the result was announced based on a special scheme.
Under the scheme, average marks obtained in the best three performed subjects for which exams were conducted was counted in place of subjects for which exams could not be held.
