OJEE 2021, Apply for Odisha Joint Entrance Exam at ‘ojee.nic.in’

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee will release the OJEE 2021 notification very soon on its official website. OJEE Committee will notify date of examination and admit card downloading schedule. Students who are appearing the OJEE Exam can apply through online.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE 2021) will be held from June 17 to 24, 2021 as a computer-based test (CBT) for the eligible students of the state. To apply for the exam, online application forms are available at ojee.nic.in and the last date to apply is May 15, 2021.

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE 2021) is one of the most prestigious examinations of the state conducted by the OJEE cell to fill seats in the first year BPharm, integrated MBA, MCA, MBA, MTech, MPharm, MArch, MPlan. Other than this, the seats in lateral entry admission in BTech and BPharm will also be filled on the basis of Odisha JEE 2021.

OJEE Online Application 2021 – Candidates can fill and submit OJEE application form 2021 from the official website. However, before doing so, candidates must ensure that they are eligible to apply for the desired course.

Documents needed for submission OJEE Online Application 2021: Before filling up the application form, candidates should have scanned images of coloured photograph, signature, left thumb impression, valid e-mail id and mobile phone.

The candidate’s name, parents name should be exactly the same as mentioned in the High School or his/her first Board/ Pre University examination certificate. Any deviations, whenever discovered, may lead to cancellation of the applicant’s candidature, according to the official notification.

Options filled by the candidate in the application form cannot be changed at a later stage under any circumstances. Candidates wishing to study above said course in Odisha-based colleges need to register for the exam.

Since OJEE is held for various courses, the pattern and syllabus of OJEE vary for each course. However, a few common aspects of the entrance test are that the exam is only held in online mode and all the questions asked are of MCQ type. The language of the question paper is only English and each correct answer will fetch four marks, while one mark will be deducted for an incorrect response.

The candidates who belong to Odisha can apply for admission in all the government and private colleges and for all the courses. However, the candidates who are not from Odisha can only apply for admission in the private colleges of the state.

The entrance exam will be held in selected cities in Odisha. The centres for the exam will be set up in Balasore, Bhadrak, Berhampur, Rayagada, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Rourkela, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda. The allotment of the exam centre to all the registered candidates will be done via the OJEE admit card. The same will be uploaded online under the login of candidates at ojee.nic.in.

OJEE Hall Ticket 2021 – Candidates who successfully submit the application form on time will be issued the OJEE 2021 admit card. The OJEE admit card will contain details you entered in the form, plus details for the exam. It will be issued online only at ojee.nic.in.

OJEE Result 2021: The result of OJEE will be announced as the rank card. In it, score and rank of the candidates are mentioned. The rank card is uploaded online. The candidates who become eligible as per the scores of OJEE can check their name in the merit list for admission. The merit list will be utilised for allocation of seats via a centralised counselling as recommended by the appropriate competent authority and approved by the government.

Those who clear the exam can take admission in first-year degree courses in B.Pharma, integrated MBA, BTech, MCA, MTech, MArch, MPlan courses. The ranking is calculated based on marks obtained either physics, chemistry and mathematics or physics, chemistry and biology, whichever is higher.

The B.Pharm and  B.Tech (LE-B.Sc) aspirants can take help from the NCERT solutions of class 11 and 12 physics, chemistry, maths and biology to prepare for OJEE 2021. The MCA aspirants have to prepare Mathematics and Computer awareness. Now, the B.Pharm (LE Diploma) candidates have to refer to D.Pharm Course Subjects for preparation of OJEE 2021.

The MBA and Integrated MBA aspirants of OJEE 2021 have to prepare Quantitative Techniques, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning & Comprehension, and General Awareness & Business Fundamentals.

The OJEE 2021 M.Tech aspirants must prepare Branch Questions, Engineering Mathematics and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The M.Arch and M.Plan aspirants must prepare Branch Questions and Analytical, Verbal & Logical Reasoning.

Lastly, the M.Pharm aspirants must prepare topics from the B.Pharma Course. The OJEE 2021 will be held in the English language only and there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for wrong answers in all the tests. While correct answers will fetch the candidates 4 marks.
