Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has released OSSTET Admit Card 2025 on its official website, http://bseodisha.ac.in.
Candidates who will appear for Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test will be able to download the admit card through the official site of BSE Odisha.
There shall be two papers of the OSSTET viz Paper-I and Paper-II. The minimum pass mark in each paper is 60%. A person securing 60% or more in each paper shall be considered to have qualified OSSTET. In case of SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates the minimum pass mark shall be 50%.
The OSSTET Pass Certificate shall remain valid till the candidate reaches the upper age limit prescribed for recruitment of teachers as per rules or executive instructions prescribed by the Govt. from time to time.

Candidates who want to download the admit card can follow the simple steps below.
- Visit the official website of the board- bseodisha.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads “Download Admit card of OSSTET-2024.”
- Enter the mobile number on the newly opened page.
- Click on the login button and your OSSTET Admit Card 2024 will appear on the screen.
- Check the details mentioned on the hall ticket and download it
- Take a printout for exam day
Odisha TET 2025 hall ticket
Candidates may please note that admit card is an important document to appear in the OSSTET therefore they are required to get a printout of the Odisha TET 2025 hall ticket and carry it to the examination centre on the day of the exam.
Any candidate who forgets to carry the admit card to exam venue may not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
To successfully pass each paper, a minimum of 45% is required, equivalent to scoring 68 marks out of 150. Candidates who achieve 45% or more in each paper are deemed qualified in the Odisha TET 2025.
However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/SEBC categories, the minimum pass mark is set at 35%, which amounts to securing 53 marks out of 150.
OSSTET
The OSSTET is a state-level teacher eligibility test conducted for the recruitment of teachers in government schools within the state.
OSSTET Exam Details
OSSTET will consist of two papers: papers 1 and 2. While paper 1 will be conducted for classes 1 to 5, paper 2 will be conducted for classes 6 to 8.
Candidates are advised to check the detailed eligibility criteria on the website before applying for the exam. They must have cleared class 10 with Odia as a subject, class 12, and graduation with 50 per cent marks along with B.Ed.
OSSTET Exam Pattern
Each paper will be held for 150 marks for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The questions will be asked in the multiple choice or objective format.
While one mark will be given for a correct answer, there is no negative marking for any wrong attempt. The board has also released the syllabus of OSSTET.
The exam will have two papers and four sections in each paper. This includes section I which comprises language I in which Odia is compulsory. In section II or language II, English is mandatory.
Section III features questions from arts and science. The questions in this section will be in English. The question papers will be in the relevant language for those attempting exams in other language subjects.
The fourth section comprises of child development, pedagogy, school management, and evaluation. This section too will be in English.
