This notification for Entrance Test for Admission into MBA (2 years) and M.C.A. (3 years) through Distance Mode. The University would invite applications through online mode from the eligible interested candidates for admission into the above said courses offered by Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University under distance mode for this academic year.

Eligibility for OU Distance MBA & MCA admission
MBA: Should have passed Bachelors Degree Examination of Osmania University or any other University recognized by Osmania University with minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC categories) in the qualifying Examination.
MCA: Should have passed Bachelors Degree examination of Osmania University or any other University recognized by Osmania University with minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC categories ) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level. ICET 2021 qualified candidates can get direct admission/
PATTERN OF THE TEST
The test consists of 100 questions of one mark each in the following topics:

Section-B: Mathematical Ability
(i) Arithmetical Ability:20 Questions
(ii) Algebraically and Geometrical Ability: 15 Questions
(iii) Statistical Ability: 5 Questions
Section-C: Communication Ability
(i) Vocabulary: 5 Questions
(ii) Business and Computer Terminology: 5 Questions
(iii) Functional Grammar: 5 Questions
(iv) Reading Comprehension: 10 Questions
Important Instructions to candidates
Candidates are directed to carry the following into the examination hall (a) Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black); Besides the items listed above, the candidate should not bring any other material including the instructions booklet, Papers, Cell Phones, etc., into the examination hall. Any candidate found in possession of any forbidden material will be sent out of the examination hall.
Candidates must remain seated in their allotted places until the completion of the examination. In no case, they will be allowed to leave the examination hall until the end of the examination. Before leaving the examination hall, the candidates must return the OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator.
Every candidate appearing for the Test shall be provided with a specially designed Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet on which the candidate has to mark the answer and other relevant data. The method of marking the answers is illustrated below, in this section. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions given for marking the answers and other entries on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet thoroughly and practice the same at their residence which should make it easy for them to answer in the examination hall.
The Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet should be handled carefully by the candidates. They are advised not to fold, wrinkle or tear the answer sheet under any circumstances. Further, the candidates are advised not to scribble or make any marks on the answer sheet except marking the answers and other relevant data at the appropriate place on the answer sheet.
Any violation of these instructions will automatically lead to disqualification of the candidate. Candidates shall note that they will not be given a second blank Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet under any circumstances. Hence they are advised to be careful while handling their answer sheet.
Candidates shall read carefully the instructions before starting to answer the questions. The question paper booklet given to the candidate shall consist of 100 multiple choice type questions in three different sections with four responses given to each question, out of which only one response is correct for the given question.
Candidates shall mark the correct answer in Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet by darkening the appropriate circle with Ball Point Pen only (Blue/ Black).
Instructions to fill up OMR answer sheet
Follow the instructions given on the OMR answer sheet. Fill up information and darken all the relevant circles on the OMR answer sheet carefully, otherwise, your answer sheet will become invalid.
Use Ball Point Pen only (Blue/Black) for darkening the circles for information and answering on the answer sheet. Use Ball Point Pen wherever directed on the answer sheet to write information.
Please darken the most appropriate response chosen by you, only in the corresponding circle against the number corresponding to the question, you are attempting. Please do not make any stray marks ELSEWHERE on the Answer Sheet; ELSE the Answer Sheet will become invalid.
Procedure for payment through Online
- Go to Nearest AP Online Center
- Get registered thereby filling basic details and Pay the Registration fee
- Your Registration id will be sent to your Mobile Number and Email Id
- Login to www.ouadmissions.com by using your registration id, mobile number, and date of birth.
- Upload your scanned photo (size 40 KB) and signature(Size 30KB)
- Fill the Application Form.
