Eligibility
Qualification for Agricultural B.Sc: A pass in two-year Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with BPC/MPC/MBPC subjects.
Candidates who have passed a three-year Diploma course in Home Science can also apply for admission under 10% supernumerary seats quota.
Age Limit for Agricultural B.Sc: Candidates for admission into this course in the University shall be required to have completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years as on 31st December, 2023.
The upper age limit in respect of SC and ST candidates shall be 25 years, while for Physically Challenged candidates it shall be 27 years as on 31st December, 2023.
Seats Reservation
Reservation of seats for the candidates from Non-Municipal (Rural Area) Areas: 40% of the seats in this course are reserved for candidates studied in rural areas.
Candidates seeking admission under this category should produce a certificate(s) from the Heads of Institution(s) that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 12th class/Intermediate (any four years).
The relevant information must be filled in the proforma as prescribed in FORM-I of the application and duly signed by the Head of the institution concerned.
If Form-I is not filled in/duly signed by the concerned Head of Institution or officer along with office seal, the claim of the candidates under this category will be rejected. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Selection Process
Selection Process for Agricultural B.Sc: Criteria for selection: The candidates shall be selected based on merit in optional subjects of the two-year Intermediate or its equivalent Examination as per the rule of reservation.
In case of other equivalent examinations passed by the candidates, the weightage of marks obtained in optional subjects shall be reckoned on par with those of the two-year Intermediate examination.
In case of a tie in aggregate marks in optional subjects obtained by two or more candidates, the total marks secured in the Intermediate (10+2) shall be taken into consideration. In case of a further tie, the age of the candidates shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference for the seat.
10% of total intake of this course is reserved for Diploma Holders who have passed three year Diploma course in Home Science. In case of a tie, the age of the candidates shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference for the seat.
Application Fee
Registration Fee for Agricultural B.Sc: Payment of application fee: For applicants belonging to OC and BC social status, the amount is Rs. 1,800/- (Application Fee + Online Processing Fee) and for applicants belonging to SC, ST social status and PH, the fee is Rs. 900/- (Application Fee + Online Processing Fee).

Original certificates to be produced at the time of Counseling: List of original documents and photographs to be produced at the time of counseling are as under –
a. SSC Memorandum of Marks or Equivalent Examination Certificate, as evidence of the Date of Birth.
b. Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying examination (Intermediate/Diploma or its Equivalent).
c. Bonafide / Study Certificate from 6th to 12th Class.
d. Transfer Certificate. e. Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate (Form-I).
f. The latest certified copy of the Social Status Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

Instructions to Candidates:
The guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed.
The University will send SMS to the applicants for the purposes related to counselling. Hence the candidates are informed to mention their personal mobile numbers but not the mobile numbers of relatives, friends, net/online/Xerox centers etc.
The certificates of the candidates under special categories (PH, CAP, NCC & SPORTS) shall be verified by the authorities concerned.
The Counselling/Verification under special categories (PH, CAP, NCC & SPORTS) will be held in the presence of authorities concerned and seats will be allotted as per the priorities indicated by the officers concerned.
Fees once paid to the University shall not be refunded (except caution deposits) under any circumstances.
If a candidate cancels his/her admission, he/she must pay the prescribed cancellation fee.
The candidate who secures a seat, should submit the certificates in Original along with the prescribed fees at the time of counselling itself.
The University does not guarantee any employment to the candidates.
Candidates are informed that mere submission of an online application and attending for counselling does not guarantee the allotment of seat.
In case, the information furnished or the certificates uploaded by the candidates are found to be false, the University will take appropriate action against the individuals concerned and his/her application will be summarily rejected.
