Criteria for selection: a. The selection of the candidates in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture underpayment quota shall be based on the ranks obtained in Telangana State EAMCET duly following the rule of reservation(including special reservations viz., PH, CAP, NCC).
The rule of reservation under farmers quota(@40%) will also apply for payment quota seats. b. In case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more candidates in the Telangana State EAMCET, the marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination (Intermediate) shall be taken into consideration.
In case of a further tie, the age of the candidate shall be taken into consideration and the older candidate shall be given preference.
Age: The candidates for admission into B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture courses shall be required to have completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates,
25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Challenged candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission. Allocation of seats: Out of the total, 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% of seats are unreserved merit.

The candidates seeking admission underpayment quota seats may note the following. a. The candidates attending the counselling underpayment quota should bring a demand draft of Rs. 10,13,550/- (Ten Lakhs Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Rupees only) in favour of THE COMPTROLLER, PJTSAU PAYABLE AT HYDERABAD and Rs. 36,450/- (Thirty-Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Rupees only) in cash for immediate payment along with demand draft at the respective allotted college in the event of selection of the candidate for admission.
b. The candidates selected underpayment quota will be treated on par with regular students. No special amenities or facilities will be provided. c. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
Instructions: Fees once paid to the University shall not be refunded under any circumstances. In addition, the candidate has to pay the cancellation fee (Rs.2000/- in respect of SC & ST and Rs.4000/- in respect of others), if the candidate leaves the institution.
If the candidate has already joined in any course in either of the three Universities (PJTSAU, PVNRTVU and SKLTSHU) by paying the requisite fee under regular quota, and if he/she opts for seat underpayment quota, the fee already paid under regular quota will be adjusted therein.
More number of candidates have been called for counselling, hence, admission is not guaranteed. Candidates are called for counselling in the ratio of 1:13 and the seats will be based on allotted as per merit Telangana State EAMCET and rule of reservation.
Candidates shall have to attend to the counselling at their own cost only. The University does not guarantee any employment to the candidates. The applicant is informed that mere submission of online application and attending for counselling does not guarantee a seat. Selection of candidates under BC, SC & ST quota is subject to clearance of the respective social status by the respective Directorates of Government of Telangana. The provisional selection under BC-E category is subject to the final adjudication (in W.P.No. 15267 of 2007) in the Hon’ble High Court.
The guidelines issued by Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed scrupulously. Candidates called for counselling will have to attend at their own cost and only one parent / guardian of the candidate will be allowed to accompany the candidate during the counselling process. The Universities do not guarantee any employment to the candidates joining the courses.
Candidates are required to read the prospectus thoroughly before attending the counselling. The counselling will be conducted on all the days as notified in the schedule.
The counselling process is likely to extend late into the evening, hence the candidates and parents/ guardians are requested to come well prepared for the same. Counselling for admission under NCC, CAP (Defence) and PH quota will be held separately in presence of the concerned authorities.
More number of candidates than the availability of seats are called for counselling and hence, mere attendance/participation during counselling does not guarantee admission. Candidates should report at the counselling centre an hour before the scheduled time.
Certificates/documents other than those uploaded will not be entertained or considered for the allotment of seats. Candidates belonging to BC, SC & ST categories should bring two Xerox copies of their caste certificate to be submitted at the counselling centre.

The tentative merit list has been prepared based on the information uploaded by the applicants. In case of any discrepancies in the Merit List, the candidates are advised to bring the same to the Notice of the University authorities immediately.
The complaints/objections received after 5th August,-2023 by 4:00 PM will not be entertained. The final merit list will be prepared after due verification of the documents during the counselling process.
Out of total seats 36% in B.F.Sc. UG programme (i.e.,11 seats) offered by Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh are earmarked for Telangana State.
The admission is based on the Rank obtained in TS EAMCET-2023. The candidates selected under these seats will be required to study at College of Fishery Science, Muthukur, Nellore Dist. under the control of SVVU. The fee structure as prescribed by SVVU is approximately Rs.37,000/-.
The selection of the candidates in B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture and B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture underpayment quota shall be based on the ranks obtained in TS EAMCET-2023 duly following the rule of reservation with fee structure as indicated in the prospectus.
The rule of reservation under farmers quota (@40%) will also apply for payment quota seats. The notification for these seats will be issued separately.
A candidate for admission under the general category to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course must have passed in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and obtained 50% (45% for SC/ST/PH category) of marks at the intermediate level in each subject.
15% of seats in B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture under ICAR quota will be filled up based on ranks obtained in UG-AIEEA-2023 National level examination conducted by ICAR. The leftover seats under ICAR quota will not be filled up by the University.
