TS Agriculture Polytechnic Admission Counselling Schedule has been released for admission into various Diploma Courses of PJTSAU for the AY 2023-24. The Telangana State Agricultural University has given the TS Agricultural Polytechnic Diploma course Admission notification and the PJTSAU invited the applications from the eligible candidates for admission into Agricultural Polytechnic Diploma Courses in University Govt Agriculture polytechnics and affiliated Private Agriculture polytechnics for 2023.
PJTSAU, Telangana Agriculture University offers Four Diploma Courses viz., Diploma in Agriculture (2 Years), Diploma in Seed Technology (2 Years), Diploma in Organic Agriculture (2 Years) and Diploma in Agricultural Engineering (3 Years) for the Academic Year 2023-24 through English Medium.

Eligibility for Counselling: The candidates who have submitted their Online Application for admission into various Diploma Courses of PJTSAU are only eligible to appear for the counselling as per the schedule given in the notification.
The Tentative Merit list of the candidates who have applied for diploma courses for the academic year 2023-23 has been prepared based on the information uploaded by the applicants. In case of any discrepancies/objections in the Tentative Merit list, the candidates are advised to report the same through email to admissions.pjtsau@gmail.com within 24 hrs. The discrepancies/objections received after 23-08-2023 by 7:00 PM will not be entertained. The final merit list will be prepared after due verification of the documents during the counselling process.

PJTSAU Admission Counselling:
Candidates who wish to seek admission into diploma courses should appear TS POLYCET 2023. SBTET will provide the ranks of the candidates to the University and the seats in various diploma courses will be filled up based on the ranks obtained in the Telangana State POLYCET 2020 dully following the rule of reservation.
After the declaration of the results of TS POLYCET, PJTSAU will issue separate notification for admission into various diploma courses offered by the University and the candidates need to apply separately.
Detailed prospectus, seat position, list of polytechnics and fee structure etc., will be placed on the University website www.pjtsau.edu.in after the declaration of results of POLYCET.
The candidates who wish to seek admission into Diploma Courses of PJTSAU should appear for POLYCET conducted by SBTET. Counseling will be conducted by PJTSAU through a separate admission notification to fill up the seats of Diploma Courses of PJTSAU based on the ranks obtained by the candidates in POLYCET.
TS Agriculture Polytechnic admission Counselling Dates:
In this process, the PJTSAU Telangana Agricultural University will release TS Agriculture Polytechnic Courses admissions counselling notification for admission into above-said courses.
In this notification, First phase, 2nd phase, 3rd Phase and Spot counselling schedule have been announced by the PJTSAU Telangana officials and agriculture courses admissions for 2023 batch through counselling process was held from as per schedule for admission into 2-year Agricultural Polytechnic, Seed Technology course and 3 year Agricultural Engineering courses.
The Rank wise counselling schedule indicating the region wise and category wise of the candidates called for counselling and the detailed counselling instructions are available on PJTSAU Telangana Agricultural University official website.
Candidates are advised to download and go through them carefully before attending the counselling. The Counselling will be held at the University Auditorium, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Administrative Office, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030 .
NCC category
Counselling for Admission into Diploma Courses under NCC category: All the candidates who have applied for admission into various Diploma courses of the university under NCC(National Cadet Corps) Category are informed to attend the counselling on as per the date and Venue: University Auditorium, P.J.T.S.A.U.,
Candidates are informed to bring all the original certificates along with two sets of Xerox copies. If the candidate has already taken admission in any other institution Custodian certificate has to be produced.
Form-I Certificate of Head Master stating that that the candidate has studied in the Non Municipal area (Rural Area) for a minimum period of four years and the original NCC certificates are compulsory.
CAP category
Counselling for Admission into Diploma Courses under CAP category: All the candidates who have applied for admission into various Diploma courses of the university under CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) Category are informed to attend the counselling on as per the date and Venue: University Auditorium, P.J.T.S.A.U.
Candidates are informed to bring all the original certificates along with two sets of Xerox copies. If the candidate has already taken admission in any other institution Custodian certificate has to be produced.
Form-I Certificate of Head Master stating that that the candidate has studied in the Non Municipal area (rural area) for a minimum period of four years and the original CAP certificates are compulsory.
List of Documents
List of Certificates for Verification: Candidates are required to bring the Original Certificates along with two sets of Xerox copies, necessary fee and three latest passport size photographs and these photographs are required to be affixed on admission processing and other forms.
The candidates are required to bring two sets of the Xerox copies of the following original documents.
a. Downloaded Online Application Form.
b. SSC Memorandum of Marks or Equivalent Examination Certificate.
c. POLYCET-2020 Rank Card & Hall Ticket.
d. Bonafide / Study Certificate from 4th to 10th Class.
e. Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate (Form-I).
f. Transfer Certificate.
g. The latest certified copy of the Social Status Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
h. Physically Challenged Certificate.
i. Children of Armed Personnel Certificate / Defence Personnel Certificate.
j. National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate.
k. Sports and Games Certificates.
Criteria for selection:
- The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates under Agriculture Stream in the Telangana State POLYCET conducted by SBTET.
- If further tie, the OGPA obtained in SSC or its equivalent examination will be considered.
- If tie continues the grade point obtained in first Science and later Maths, English, Telugu, Social and Hindi will be taken into consideration.
- In case of further tie, the age of the candidates shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference for the seat.
Fee:
Selected candidate for admission into University polytechnics shall pay an amount of Rs.12,810/- immediately towards the fees for the first semester of AY (Hostel and Mess charges are additional) during admission. Selected candidate for admission into Affiliated polytechnics shall pay an amount of Rs.17,810/- immediately towards the fees for the first semester of AY 2020-21 (Hostel and Mess charges are additional) during admission.
If the candidate cancels his/her seat he/she shall pay fees (Rs. 2000/- for General candidates and Rs.1000/- for SC/ST/PH Candidates) towards the seat cancellation. If the candidate secures admission in any other institution, then the candidate should produce Custodian Certificate during verification of certificates.
Important Instructions:
Candidates are required to read the prospectus thoroughly before attending the counselling. The counseling will be conducted on all the days as notified in the schedule. This notification shall be treated as an individual intimation and no separate intimation will be issued. The candidates are required to produce all the relevant original certificates at the time of counselling failing which the candidature for admission will be rejected.
Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability. Fees once paid to the University will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates called for counselling will have to attend at their own cost and only one parent /guardian of the candidate will be allowed to accompany the candidate during the counselling process.
Selection of candidates under BC, SC & ST quota is subject to clearance of the respective social status by the respective Directorates of Government of Telangana. 9. The Universities do not guarantee any employment to the candidates joining the courses. The counseling process is likely to extend late into the evening, hence the candidates and parents/ guardians are requested to come well prepared for the same.
Counseling for admission under NCC, CAP (Defence) and P.H. quota will be held separately in presence of the concerned authorities. More number of candidates than the availability of seats are called for counseling and hence, mere attendance / participation during counselling does not guarantee admission.
Candidates should report at the counseling center an hour before the scheduled time. Certificates / documents other than those uploaded will not be entertained or considered for the allotment of seats. The candidates who have higher education i.e., Intermediate(10+2) or above qualification are not eligible for admission into diploma courses of PJTSAU.
The candidates are informed to visit University website www.pjtsau.edu.in regularly for latest updates. The seats reserved under BC/SC/ST categories shall also be filled up simultaneously during the counseling process on the scheduled days. In case, the information furnished or the certificates uploaded by the candidates are found to be false, the University will take appropriate action against the individuals concerned.
The guidelines issued by Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed scrupulously. The parents and candidates should visit the University website www.pjtsau.edu.in regularly during the counselling dates for updates and the availability of seats under various categories.
After the counselling on the scheduled days, the availability of seat position category wise will be displayed on the University website i.e., www.pjtsau.edu.in daily by 7:00 PM. In the event of non-availability of seats, under any particular category, the candidates belonging to those particular category are advised not to attend the counselling. The University is not responsible for any information provided in websites other than at www.pjtsau.edu.in.
Parents and Students are informed that the admissions are purely based on merit and rule of reservation and as such they are requested not to rely on any middlemen/persons/consultants who try to mislead the students in securing admission into PJTSAU under any quota. All the seats will be filled by the University only.
In view of the COVID-19, you are strictly advised to follow all the safety precautionary measures while attending the counselling. Maintaining physical distancing, Face Mask/Face Shield are compulsory for attending the counselling.
