The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a nationwide notification (CEN No. 03/2025) announcing vacancies. A total of 7,951 positions are available, including Junior Engineer and Chemical Supervisor roles.
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) invite applications from eligible candidates for Junior Engineer and Other posts in Indian Railways. Candidates can apply for the positions through the regional website of RRBs.
The recruitment drive comprises first-stage CBT, second-stage CBT, and a document verification process.
Candidates who qualify for these three steps will also have to undergo medical tests at the time of document verification.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years (relaxation applicable for reserved categories)
- Qualification: Diploma or degree in engineering or relevant stream
Exam Pattern:
The RRB JE exam consists of two stages:
- CBT 1: 100 questions, 90 minutes, negative marking of ⅓ marks
- CBT 2: 150 questions, 120 minutes, negative marking of ⅓ marks
The exam pattern includes questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematics, and relevant technical subjects.
