Govt Of India, Ministry of Railways has published the RRB Para Medical Staff Recruitment 2019 notification in the Employment News (23 February to 1 March 2019) as Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs)/CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE (CEN) No. 02/2019. Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) invite ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for vacancies for the posts of PARA-MEDICAL STAFF like Staff Nurse, Health & Malaria Inspector, Pharmacist, ECG Technician, Lab Assistant, Lab Superintendent, etc. The opening date of registration of online applications is 04.03.2019 – RRB/CEN 02/2019.

Railway Recruitment Board has invited candidates who have applied for Paramedical Recruitment 2019 exam to view their application status. The Computer Based Test or CBT for the recruitment is likely to begin in the second week of July 2019. Candidates who have applied for the exam can check their application status on the regional websites of RRB.
The activated link will also display the provisionally eligible candidates whose application has been accepted and the reason for those who have been rejected. Candidates will require their application or registration number and date of birth to check their application status. Steps to check application status are provided here for candidates to follow.

Candidates whose applications have been accepted will be eligible to appear for the Computer Based Test or CBT. The recruitment test is likely to commence from the second week of July this year. The exact dates will be advised through RRB websites. RRB is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 1937 vacancies. The recruitment process in the RRB exam is fully computerized and the selection is based upon the merit of candidates. RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2019: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the official advertisement CEN 02/2019 for the paramedical vacancies across the various RRBs online. RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2019 : Application fee
For all candidates except the fee Concession categories, the application fee is Rs 500. Out of this fee of `500/- an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded to their bank account duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in CBT.
For candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class This fee of `250/- shall be refunded to their bank account duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.
RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2019 : Selection Process
There will be recruitment test in CBT mode which will be of 90 minutes carrying 100 marks. Shortlisting of candidates for Document Verification will be made strictly on merit based on the performance of the candidate in the CBT.
The notification further reads, “Candidates called for Document Verification will have to pass the requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of Railway staff.

RRB Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2019 : Education qualification
For most of the posts, candidates need to have a graduation degree while for 3 posts, candidates need to have done their intermediate from science stream with a relevant diploma in the respective trade. For detailed information on education qualification, candidates are advised to check the official notification.
Detailed CEN will be published on the official websites of all the participating RRBs, as indicated. The detailed CEN will be published in the official websites on the opening date of registration of online application of respective CEN. Vacancies indicated above and in the CEN are provisional and may increase or decrease in total or in specific units/communities/posts at a later stage depending upon the actual needs of the Railway administration.

Candidates are required to go through the Post Parameter Table, Vacancy Table and ascertain their eligibility to apply through ONLINE mode to any one RRB only,
whichever applicable, depending upon their eligibility. The selection of RRB, whichever applicable, once exercised shall be final. Application to more than one RRB, whichever applicable, will lead to rejection of all the applications for the respective CEN.
Eligibility of the candidates will be considered only on the strength of the information furnished in the ONLINE Application. Candidates need NOT send printouts of application or Certificates or copies to RRBs concerned by post. If at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in his/her application is false/incorrect or the candidate has suppressed any relevant information or the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post(s), his/her candidature will be rejected forthwith.
