The Indian Railway Recruitment Board has given the RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories Recruitment 2025 notification

Candidates must visit the RRB’s official website and click on the link to check the application status. Incomplete application forms or applications with errors in it are rejected by the RRB once the link is activated.

Candidates will be able to check their application status by logging in using their application registration number and date of birth to check their application status.

Medical Standards: Candidates must ensure they fulfill the prescribed Medical Standards for the post(s) for which they are applying.

For this, they should refer to the medical standards for each post as available in the detailed CEN to be published on the official websites of RRBs. Candidates found medically unsuitable for the applied post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment.

Reservation and suitability for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): For details, refer to the detailed CEN to be published on the official websites of RRBs.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Candidates: Refer to the detailed CEN to be published on the official RRB websites. Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT).

Examination Fee: The application fee for candidates is Rs 500. However, the application fee is Rs 250 for PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class (EBC).

The selection process includes a Single Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), a Performance or Teaching Skill Test, a Translation Test (if applicable), and a Document Verification/Medical Examination.

The CBT will consist of 100 questions to be completed within 90 minutes. However, candidates with benchmark disabilities will be allowed an additional 30 minutes, bringing the total exam time to 120 minutes, with the assistance of a scribe if required.

The exam will assess candidates on topics such as Professional Ability, General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Science. It will use a negative marking system, with 1/3 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.
