Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years of age to apply for the above-mentioned posts.
Selection Process: Candidates who will apply for Fire Engineer posts will have to appear for a Written Test. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Interview, as the case may be through the careers page of the SAIL website. Weightage of marks for Written Test & Interview will be 80:20 respectively. For other posts, candidates will have to appear for written test, followed by the Trade Test/Skill Test.
Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs 500/- as application fee for Fire engineer posts, Rs 250/- for Trainee posts and Rs 150/- for Attendant cum Technician and Blaster posts. Only General and OBC candidates will have to pay the application fee. No application fee will be charged from SC/ST/PwD/ESM or departmental candidates.
