SBI Apprentice Posts Recruitment 2020: Apply online for 700 Apprentice Posts: State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications for the recruitment of Apprentices in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The interested candidates can apply online for the SBI Apprentices post through the official website of SBI — sbi.co.in – from today i.e., September 17, 2020.
The last date to submit online applications for SBI Apprentice post is October 6, 2020. SBI will conduct the online examination on October 23, 2020. The admit card for the same would be released on October 15, 2020. SBI is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up 700 vacancies for the Apprentice post in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

This recruitment drive will fill up 700 Apprentice posts in the organisation. The apprentices will be engaged in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
Anyone with a graduation degree from a recognized university or institute is eligible to apply for SBI Apprentice recruitment. The lower age limit is 20 years and upper age limit is 28 years. Reserved category candidates will be provided relaxation on upper age limit as per Government of India regulations. The application will be accepted only in the online mode. An apprentice after selection will receive ‘stipend of 70% of semi-skilled labour wages as applicable in the respective states as per the Apprentices Act or Rs.8000 per month whichever is higher’.

The applicant’s age should be between 20 years and 28 years as on 31.08.2019. It may be noted that the maximum age indicated is for unreserved candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Candidate should possess Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute. Candidates who want to apply for the post should have graduation degree from a recognized University/Institute. The minimum age to apply is 20 years and maximum age to apply is till 28 years as on August 31, 2020.
Duration: The duration of the training will be for one year.
Stipend/ Benefit: The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of 70% of semi-skilled labour wages as applicable in the respective states as per the Apprentices Act or Rs 8000 per month whichever is higher. The trainee is not eligible for any other allowances/benefits.
Exam Pattern of SBI Apprentice Posts: The examination for selection of Apprentices will be conducted in computer-based mode. The examination will be of one-hour duration and will have 100 questions carrying one mark each. The test will have four sections – General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude. Each section will have 25 questions. Each section will have a separate timing of 15 minutes.
The selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of online written test and test of the local language. The online test will have 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. The duration of the exam would be 1 hour. The subjects to be included in the test are General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The local language test includes Hindi, Punjabi language test for Haryana and Punjab state and only Hindi for Himachal Pradesh.
The duration of training is one year only.
