SBI CBO Selection Process 2025
The SBI CBO selection process comprises three stages:
a) Online Test
The online test comprises Objective and Descriptive tests.
b) Objective Test
- This section is divided into four parts, carrying a total of 120 marks.
- The test spans 2 hours, with separate timing for each section.
- Notably, there will be no penalty for incorrect answers marked in the Objective Test.
c) Descriptive Test
- Immediately following the Objective Test, the Descriptive Test assesses candidates’ English Language skills in Letter Writing and Essay.
- It holds a weightage of 50 marks and has a duration of 30 minutes.
- There are no sectional qualifying marks, and the minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be decided by the Bank.
e) Screening
After the online examination, the applications and documents of qualified candidates will undergo scrutiny by the Screening Committee.
d) Interview
The interview phase carries 50 marks, and candidates must attain the minimum qualifying marks to progress towards final selection. The specific qualifying marks will be determined by the bank.
The selection process involves a merit list to be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Online Test.
Final Section
For the final selection, candidates must successfully clear both the Online Test and the Interview individually. The scores achieved in the Online Test, encompassing both the Objective and Descriptive Tests, will be combined with the Interview marks to formulate the final merit list.
This list will be curated by normalizing the marks obtained in the Online Test and Interview, assigning a weightage of 75:25, respectively, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation process for the CBO recruitment 2023.
Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise & Category wise vacancies will be called for the Interview from the top of the State wise & Category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score.
