SRM Institute of Science and Technology has released the SRMJEEE 2023 application form on its official website One can fill the application form through online mode. SRM JEE 2023 would be conduct for admission to BTech programmes offered by its campus.

The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST) has opened applications for admissions to its engineering courses for the academic year 2023. The university has begun the registrations for the Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) at the official portal –

The online application is for admission to BTech programmes offered across SRM campuses including Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli, and Delhi – NCR Campus – Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, AP – Andhra Pradesh.

Candidate will have to register online, verify their email address, fill up the details, upload all the required documents and pay the application fee to complete the process.

The institute will also conduct mock tests before both phases. Details about the mock tests, application form and the information bulletin can be accessed on the official website, The application form fee is Rs.1,100, and it is non-refundable.

SRMJEEE will be a computer based Duration of the exam is 2 hour and 30 minutes. The exam comprises of 125 multiple choice questions of 125 marks. One mark will be provided for every correct answer. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer. There are 5 sections in the exam which includes physics, chemistry, maths, English and aptitude.

Eligibility Criteria for SRMJEE

To be eligible to appear for SRMJEEE 2023, candidates need to score a minimum of 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics each as well as combined in their class 12 board exams.

Further, a candidate should have passed the higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or should be appearing in it in the 2023-23 academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies.

“Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa,” the institute said. Candidates must note that in case they do not fulfill the eligibility as per the various criteria, their applications will be considered cancelled, claimed the official website.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology would release the SRMJEE Online Application link or SRMJEE Registration link on its official website, Candidates who want to appear the SRM Joint entrance exam can check details and submit the online application on the web portal using required details.     Register by submitting details like name, email ID and phone number. Get the email received from the authorities verified after registering for SRMJEEE successfully.

SRMJEEE qualified candidates can apply for admission to undergraduate Engineering courses offered by SRMIST campuses at Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli) and Delhi – NCR Campus – Ghaziabad (UP). They can also apply for admission to SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, Andhra Pradesh.

For candidates who will be submitting their application fee through Demand Draft (DD), you need to select the option ‘DD’ during the payment steps. They will have to pay Rs.1100 through Demand Draft and enter details such as bank name, draft number and date.

The exam is conducted for admitting students to BTech programmes offered at RM deemed university (Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani)/SRMIST Chennai, SRM University, Sonepat, Haryana, and SRM University, Andhra Pradesh. The top 1,000 rank holders of JEE Main will be given direct admission to the SRM University.

The SRMIST has notified that SRMJEEE will be conducted in remote proctored online mode (RPOM). Here are some tips to get ready for this undergraduate engineering entrance test. There will be 3 slots in each of these phases. It is expected that SRMJEEE slot booking for phase 1 will start soon. Only those who apply by May 15 will be able to book the slot and download admit card.

Candidates who will qualify in JEE Main 2023 / SAT will directly get admission to SRM University. However, now that JEE Main 2023 has been postponed, cracking SRMJEEE can be an alternative. Hence, here are some tips and details that will help students ace the examination.

First of all, be familiar with the SRMJEEE Syllabus and complete it. In SRMJEEE, questions will be from Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, and Aptitude. The syllabus of the exam is as per the class 12 level. It is prescribed by SRMIST and is available online at

The SRMJEEE is a remote proctored test, which means that the candidates need not appear at the exam centre and may take it from any place. In all, there shall be a total of 125 questions in the exam.

Around 35 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be asked from Physics and Chemistry, individually; and 40 questions shall be from Maths or Biology. In addition to this, 5 questions from English and 10 questions from Aptitude will also be asked in the exam. There is no negative marking and each correct answer shall fetch 1 mark.

To make the students familiar with the exam pattern of the entrance test, SRMIST will also release SRMJEEE mock tests. For SRMJEEE phase 1, the mock test will be held on May 20 and 21, 2021. Later for phase 2, the mock tests will be held on July 23 and 24, 2021.

Candidates must also try solving SRMJEEE sample papers. By doing so, candidates will get to know the exam difficulty level, the pattern marking scheme, etc.

To get the best SRMJEEE result, it is recommended that students solve questions from the NCERT books. Since the exam is based on the syllabus of class 12, candidates should prepare from the NCERT books of PCM. Complete the entire NCERT once and then practice. Students should try to get a habit of solving a variety of questions, candidates can also use form reference books such as RD Sharma, HC Verma, OP Tandon, etc.

SRMJEEE phase 1 result will be declared on May 27, 2021, and the phase 2 results will be available on July 29, 2021. The result will be declared online at The candidates who clear the entrance exam will move on to the counselling round and then the admission process.

Due to the pandemic, JEE Main 2023 has been postponed. The NTA has postponed the April and May session. This means that JEE Main 2023 admit card will also be released at a later stage. In this situation, students may take SRMJEEE and secure a seat in a BTech course.

For admission in to the B.Tech programs, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the SRMJEEE results. Successful candidates will be called to register for an online counselling process. After the process, allotment of seats to candidates for admissions to the courses will be offered by different campuses of SRMIST.
