The exam conducting body, SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has launched its new website, ssc.gov.in for One Time Registration for new candidates.
The Staff Selection Commission has also announced that the old website, ssc.nic.in will continue to function through a link on the new website.
SSC OTR
Now, candidates to do fresh a one time registration, SSC OTR on the new website as OTR done earlier on the older version of the SSC website will stand null and void.
The detailed instructions for the one-time registration is available under the section ‘For Candidates > Special Instructions > Instructions for filling OTR’ on the new website.

All applications for future examinations are required to be submitted online through the new website, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/ only.

SSC website
The new SSC website, ssc.gov.in home page, has a notice board with the latest information, some quick links for applications, results, answer keys and admit cards, and the SSC calendar.
At the bottom of the home page, SSC also has a ‘browse by examination’ section. It has all the exams conducted by SSC.

- Go to the official new SSC website, ssc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the ‘login or register’ tab
- In the next step, click on ‘New User? Register Now tab
- Enter personal details and, create password, add details like the candidate’s nationality, address, education
- Cross-check the details and submit the same
