SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2025 will be released by the Staff Selection Commission on its official website, ssc.nic.in.

Candidates who have registered for the SSC Stenographer recruitment exam can check details and download the hall ticket from the official web portal by using login details.

SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2025 download

SSC generally releases the admit card around a week before the test is scheduled. So, candidates can download their admit cards from SSC website.

To access and download the admit card candidates need to input their registration number and date of birth admit card to take the SSC Steno Tier 1 exam. The SSC Stenographer exam will take place on October 12 and 13.

The candidates who have qualified the written exam will have to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography.

The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/ Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D. The matter will have to be transcribed on a computer.

All the candidates qualified for Document Verification are required to come for Document Verification. Those who fail to do so will not be considered for any post at the time of final selection.

Candidates will have to submit copies of various documents like Matriculation Certificates, educational qualifications, caste certificates, relevant documents, if any relaxation is taken, etc.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the admit card for the SSC Stenographer recruitment exam from the official website:

  • Go to the official website for any of the regional SSC websites.
  • Click on the admit card link for your applicable category, i.e. Graduation posts/HS posts/ Matric posts.
  • A fresh page opens with links that will be redirected to the regional official websites. Click on the link for your region.
  • Then, tap on the notification reading, Status/Download Admit Card For SSC Stenographer Exam 2025.
  • Key in your Registration Number/Roll Number followed by your D.O.B to procure the admit card.
  • Lastly, take a print of the downloaded SSC Stenographer Exam Admit Card 2025 and keep it safe for future records

SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern

The examination will be a computer-based test, and it will be of objective type multiple choice. Questions will be set in Hindi and English except for Part-III. 

The question paper will have three parts- Part I will have General Intelligence and Reasoning, Part II will have General Awareness and Part III includes English Language and Comprehension.

The examination will be for 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit.

What is the SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern?

According to the SSC Stenographer 2025 Exam Pattern, the exam will consist of 200 questions covering three topics, and candidates will have a total of 2 hours to complete the test.

Each question is worth one mark and will be presented in a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
