As per the calendar of events of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, Anna University has declared the TANCET result 2025 along with TANCET rank card 2025 on its official website.
Candidates who have appeared the Common Entrance Test can check details and download the result from the official web link by login details. Moreover, the TANCET mark sheet will be available for download from June first week.
TANCET Result 2025
TANCET results indicate marks and percentile score. However, to avoid projecting negative scoring, the final scorecard only shows percentile score.
TANCET is the state level entrance examination that is held for admission to MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan.
It is a yearly exam, organized by Anna University, Chennai. In 2022, the exam was held on May 14 for MBA, MCA. And then on May 15, for ME, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan. Each of the tests was two hour long.
The percentile score in the TANCET results is calculated as per the following formula: Y/N x 100 (where Y is the number of students who scored marks less than the candidate, N is the total number of students who took that test).
Anna University held the exam in Chennai, Coimbatore, Chidambaram, Dindigul, Erode, Karaikudi, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, Vellore, Villupuram, and Virudhunagar.

- The MCA exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12 pm.

TANCET Score Card 2025
Anna University has released TANCET Scorecard on June first week. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can download the scorecard through the official site.
The result was announced on June 2. The score card will contain information regarding the candidates name, roll number and marks secured in the entrance examination. Candidates can download the score card by following these simple steps given below.
According to the notification released by the varsity, the score card will have to be produced at the time of admission. Incase the score card is lost, candidates will have to apply for the duplicate score card by paying ₹100 in form of a demand draft along with a written request to the Secretary, TANCET

How to check TANCET result 2025?

- Visit the tancet.annauniv.edu Website: Candidates who registered for the TANCET examination can visit the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu in your device web browser.
- Click on the Result Link: Once you reach the official website, click on the result link on the homepage.
- Enter login details: After clicking on that link, result checking web page will appear. Enter your login details and click on the download button.
- Download the Result: After clicking on the download button, the result will appear on the screen. Download and take a print out.
Candidates may note that for marking, every right response gets 1 mark and every wrong response gets a negative marking of 1/3. Also, as per the notice, ‘multiple shading will be considered as wrong answer and 1/3 mark will be reduced’.
