TGCET First Phase Admission Counselling 2021: Convener of VTGCET, said that the deadline for reporting for fifth class admissions in all Gurukul Schools that means the Tribal, BC Welfare and Social Welfare Residentials for the 2021–22 academic year has been extended to 08-01-2021. Students selected in Phase-1 are required to report within 19 December, but the deadline has recently been extended to 28 December.
Convener said that they should report to the allotted Gurukul schools with the relevant documents or else the admission will be canceled and the seats will be filled by others. Candidates who have talented in the TS Gurukul CET examination and have been selected from the First Phase merit list are advised to report to the respective Gurukul schools between the 7th and 08th of January 2021. This year. Government of Telangana, TSWREIS issued the TGCET 5th Class Entrance Test 2021 notification for 5th Class admission in TREIS(General Gurukulams), SC, ST and BC Welfare Residential Schools for the academic year 2021-2022.
Telangana Gurukul CET (TGCET): TGCET online application forms were invited from the eligible students for admission in Telangana Gurukulams through TS Gurukul CET 2021 5th class admission test which was held in all Districts across Telangana State.
What is TGCET?: Telangana Gurukul CET is a 5th Class Common Entrance Test for Admission into 5th Class for the academic year 2021-22 in 21st Century Schools of TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, MJPTBCWREIS OR TS Residential Schools 5th class Common Entrance Test 2021 (TG Gurukul CET) for SC, ST, BC Students for admissions in TREIS, SC, ST, BC Gurukulams.
TGCET 5th class Entrance Test: Interested students were applied through online mode @ TGCET Website http://tgcet.cgg.gov.in/ and they have appeared the TG Gurukul CET Website. TGCET 5th class Admission Test was conducted by the Convener, TGCET 2021 on 30/05/2021. Results are announced on 10/06/2021.
School wise allotted candidates lists would be placed on its web portal. As per the schedule released by the Convener, TGCET 2021, the selected candidates have to report at the allotted Schools to confirm their admission duly submitting the following certificates with two sets of photocopies.

TGCET Admissions Counselling 2021:
School Wise Provisional List/ Merit list / Selection lists are prepared for each school based on the merit in the test, rule of reservation and the options exercised by the student in the application form duly following the other conditions like rural study etc.
As the students have applied through online without any certificates they are informed to attend the school of allotment along with original certificates regarding Caste, special category (PHC/ Orphan/ Children of Armed personnel), Income certificate, study certificate etc. After satisfactory verification only, the candidate’s selection should be confirmed.
While selecting candidates, if candidates under Orphan/ PHC/ CAP quota are not available in the merit list such seats are converted into open category. If BC-C candidates are not available, that seat is allotted to BC-D and similarly BCE to BC-A.
Guidelines for Certificates Verification: Following aspects to be observed for Certificates verification. While verifying the certificates following aspects are to be observed.
a) Candidate has to produce the certificate under the category in which his/ her selection was made. For example, if a candidate selected under BC-A category he has to submit the relevant certificate. If a candidate is selected under a special category like PHC/ CAP/ Orphan, then the certificate of that category should be produced.
b) If a candidate is selected under open category there is no need of caste certificate.
c) If a candidate is selected under CAP category there is no need of income certificate. d) Except for CAP category, all the candidates have to submit the parental income certificate with annual income not exceeding Rs.1,50,000/-. e) In case of selection in General School – OC/ BC candidates must have studied in Rural area. For SC/ST candidate this rule does not apply and the students selected for Minority schools also this rule does not apply.
f) The selected candidates must have studied class IV during this academic year in Govt/ Govt Recognised schools. g) Candidate must have studied continuously 02 academic years in the erstwhile District. If a student studied in different districts for 02 years, the study district for the year 2021-2022 should be considered.
h) The candidate must have born between 01-09-2010 and 31.08.2012. In case of SC/ST candidates, they must have born between 01-09-2008 and 31.08.2012. i) Once the selection is confirmed, the candidate may be informed to attend the allotted school along with T.C/Record Sheet duly countersigned by the concerned MEOs. j) If any candidate fails to produce the concerned certificates, then the selection of such candidate shall be summarily cancelled.
The Principals of TSR Schools may make necessary arrangements to admit the candidates without any inconvenience.

The second phase of counseling to be conducted from 17th of this month to the 5th class of state social welfare. There will be counselling in district level, counselling for social welfare grievances on 17th and 18th for tribal welfare gurukuls.
The students will be informed by SMS. Instructions for conduct of counseling for admission into 5th class: As decided in the meeting held a region-wise [erstwhile district wise] committees have been constituted duly drafting one RCO / DCO / Principal from each society and the RCO / DCO drafted from TSWREI Society shall be the Member Convener for the committee. The counselling centres are constituted separately for Boys and Girls.
It is proposed to conduct sliding for the candidates who are not selected against their first option For the waiting list candidates it is proposed to hold counseling on the notified date along with counseling for the candidates to whom the admission is denied by the Principals for various reasons.
- In every counselling centre, counselling should be conducted, district wise duly allotting separate rooms.
- The vacancy position prior to sliding shall be provided by the CGG. After sliding the actual vacancy position is to be prepared and finalized by the Member Convener in consultation with representatives of the  Societies.
- The merit of admission denied candidates are to be clubbed with waiting list candidates and a common merit list is to be prepared.
- The counselling should be started at 09.00 am.
- Utmost care should be taken to avoid unwanted complications.
- Tents, chairs should be arranged for parents and students.
- Drinking water facility should be arranged.
- Society wise norms for filling leftover vacancies shall be supplied and there should not be any deviations in the rules.
- Further instructions if any shall be communicated later.
- Make police bandobast wherever required.
